See Kai Run Unisex-Child Kristin Sneaker

I'm not sure how these passed inspection, but I got a pair with blue fingerprints all over the white toe caps. It happened on both shoes. It looks like somebody handled them with an adhesive or some other substance on their fingers during production (maybe when they assembled them and put the toe cap on?), and it transferred all over the toe caps. I'm not sure how anybody could miss seeing this. The color transferred with the fingerprints embedded in the blue. Sadly, I will be returning these just due to that. Also, I noticed that the fabric is not the usual thicker material that we have had on multiple SKRs in this style or a similar style. I don't know that this particular denim (Blue Flowers) will stand the test of time. We bought our younger girl a pair of Kristins in Silver Leather, and they look and feel like a different shoe on the outer. We'll happily keep those and try to stick to the leather or heavier fabric finishes on this type of shoe. That is my recommendation for others looking to purchase. Otherwise, they seem true to size for both of my girls and have the usual flexible sole, footbed, and toe cap that we like.
