These bookends look great! I use them on my kitchen counter to keep the half dozen or so cookbooks that I use all the time close at hand. The cat silhouette looks great against my light backsplash, and the metal is sturdy - I don't have to worry about them bending out of shape.

These were bigger and heavier than i expected. I painted mine pink. I still had to use command strips on the bot tim to keep them from tipping with the taller books.

These are cute and look like the photo. My expectation, though, was that it would look like the dog and cat were sitting on/they would be flush with the bookshelf. They actually hover in the air an inch or two. I think it would've been cuter to have them level with the bottom of the bookend, so I was a little disappointed. I'm keeping them, though.

I can't really recommend this if you like cats. That's why I paid the premium. The cat's head is 1-2 inches. In relation to the books it holds, it's minuscule. The material is strong, but I can get strong bookholders at a much lower price.This is not a bookend for people who like cats. It's a bookend for people who like atoms. Buy if you already have a microscope.

These are great!!! My son has alot of books and these make sure they are all held together nicely! The book ends look really cool on the shelf as well!!

Love these bookends, bought for my daughter as big cat lover and needed something to keep her books in check on a shelf. Very effective looking.
