Great workout gloves.
Tan gloves mean that during hard workouts the leather does not bleed black 'ink' onto your knuckles or onto the back of your hands. The wrap wrist support gives you extra strength and support when lifting heavy weights. I have lifted for over a decade and was happy to find this brand compared to another that went out of business.Highly recommend this glove. I purchased 4 additional pairs for the future. Material is firm when new but breaks-in like all other leather gloves after time. No rips or tears after 5 months of use. The fingers do get 'crunched down' over time from using bar various metal bars for lifting. Stitching has not come apart and seems to hold up well for what it is. I use a XL size and it fits fine.

Great gloves
I work out about 3 times a week and 2 of those times lift and push (bench press, iso-dumbells, etc) with my hands. These gloves have seriously saved my hands from any unnecessary roughness. They are very comfortable, and fit quite well. The stitching starts to come out a little bit after a while but has never been an issue.

These seem just as good as the old Ocelot gloves.
I've had Ocelot gloves for at least 10 years and finally got around to buying new ones. A number of reviews had me a little nervous because they said the quality just isn't the same on the new gloves. I don't agree. I think the new gloves seem just as durable and stout as my old ones. In fact the new ones fit much better. I'll admit the leather dye isn't as nice on the new ones. The old ones looked more like a natural leather and these are clearly dyed. Who cares. They offer a solid grip and the wrist strap provides good support. And I'm guessing they'll hold up just as well as my trusty old Ocelot gloves.

Not as good as I remember.
I had a pair of this brand 10 years ago and it was the best pair of lifting gloves I have ever had. The padding was super thick and they were sturdy! What I received seems like a cheap knock off. The padding is thinner than the used gloves that I am replacing and the wrist straps pretty thin and cheap. I should have known better. Never buy things you wear online!!! 3 Stars because it was a good price I guess and I will give them a try but fairly disappointed in these.

Excellent protection for old hands
This is my fifth or possibly sixth pair of these gloves I've bought over the last 12 or so years. I use them for any kind of lifting or hauling in side the house (moved furniture etc) plus yard for digging and lifting for landscaping and gardening.Without these gloves, I would have had to quit the above, or pay to have someone else do whatever, because of age related pain in my hands. I am now 86 and this year my gloves and I are raising 12 different kinds of Hibiscus, 3 kinds of Hydrangeas, and French strawberries.I wear a light weight nylon work glove under them to protect my fingers when doing yard work. No, needless to say, I'm not into competition weight lifting, but if you are these are likely the best ones out there for that purpose.

wrist wrap lifting gloves
I am a very active 53 year old female and part of my fitness regime is lifting weights 3 times a week. I have a couple of issues with my wrists and thumbs and wanted some kind of security around them when I lift. Not that I lift massive amounts of weight but I like to go heavier over periods of time and was finding it quite painful and difficult. These help my hands feel more sturdy. I found these Valeo Ocelot gloves on Amazon and was happy to see that they come with an option of up to the wrist as well as wrapping around the wrist; the latter of which I chose. They fit as expected. I figure my hands are medium size, so that's what I ordered. The only complaint is that the wrist part of it is extremely tight ( feels like it cuts off my hand circulation a bit ) I'm not sure if it's my already painful wrists or if the wrap part is just not as roomy as it could be. Although, because I like the rest of the fit; the soft leather, the padding on the palm and the length of the finger covers, I am going to see if I can add some Velcro to the wrap to lengthen them a bit. Nice quality and the price is reasonable considering. I highly recommend them if you lift.

Excellent Strength Training Gloves
I bought these gloves for strength training, to replace a light-duty pair from Nike I'd gotten in a sporting goods shop. The difference is impressive. The glove is well-padded yet flexible and fits my average sized hand perfectly. Most important is the wrist strap. You will hate it at first if it's new to you, but the support is wonderful and will enable you to up your weights. You will wonder how you did without it. So good I'm planning to buy another pair. Oh yes, even though leather, they are washable.

Check Your Options 1st....
Long ago I purchased a pair of Ocelot Wrist Wrap Gloves and they were superior. They broke in nicely, were highly durable and provided excellent wrist support. When the time came for me to retire them after years and years of reliable use, I decided why mess with perfection. I ordered a pair of the now Valeo Ocelot and noticed immediately the downgrade in quality. The heavy black canvas atop the hand had been replaced with a thinner more stretchy material, the black area atop the thumb now sported a terry cloth material, the area between the fingers offered a thin cloth like mesh material and the stitching appeared to be far less robust than that which I'd come to expect. Within the first three weeks of use, the very thin velcro patch on the wrist strap began to give way. By week four the stitching had given away leaving the thin velcro patch flapped away from the wrist strap. The terry cloth thumb material soon after born a hole as the remaining seams showed a degree of wear not at all commensurate with the gloves actual usage. So I say no, no to what I recognize as poor quality and poor durability. I'd have paid double for the old gloves. But I suppose when you build them as well as they used to be built, you don't move much inventory. Maybe segment your demographic, based on workouts per week for example and then bump up your product offering to three styles varying it by price and quality targeted to workouts per week. Put these gloves on the low end of the spectrum, a superior quality glove on the opposite and a medium quality glove in the middle. Then you'd have my attention, my cash and - did I hear consumer loyalty?

Good value
If you are looking for value for money then this is it. Very suprised at the look and feel of it as it feels like this should cots an arm and a leg for this product. Prtects your hand very well and been using it for a good few mo ths now and still intact. Would say get a size up as I got a large and felt snug. I am normally a medium.

Look Good and feel fine
They look smartr and seem to be well made. My only complaint is they come a bit smaller than I anticipated, so it might be best to buy a larger size.
