Better than a Klondike Bar
PROS: Easy to use, easy to change weights, easy to snap the magnet strip back, space saver, no discomfort in using two hands on the handle, low weights were easy to begin with for a beginner, love the weight pad, very fun to use and switch weights on the fly. Bottom padded rim on the bell is well attached and the whole bottom red plastic is durable enough to hold its weight. Cons: bit of a hassle to put back the bell to rack up, the logo piece came up a bit... will have to see why or what can be done about that. Summary: I look forward to my morning workout with the versa bell lots of fun... as a beginner if it gets tough I can easy switch the weight and keep working out with a lighter weight. Loads of fun swinging the weight around too. Over all great product.

Been quite pleased with this as a starter set
Packaged securely and easy to unpack. Came with instructions that were clear. Build quality was a pleasant surprise … smooth edges, good fit, durable padding where it’s needed and comes with a storage mat. The starter weight is fine for men starting out; 16lb may be a bit much for beginner women. I could see needing more weight past 36 lb but the market seems to top out around there so I would guess it’s a safer concern to go higher. The pin locking mechanism is straightforward and easy to change. There’s really no way to screw it up; the safety design is excellent. It makes a faint clunking sound when loaded with weights, but that is inherent in adjustable kettlebells and it is pretty quiet. Certainly not an issue. The handle is slightly knurled and shaped well; fits my workout very well (some competitors that is not true) Only two weeks in, but durability appears quite good. Recommended gear for beginners and less aggressive long-term kettlebell exercisers. Great value for money.

Seems pretty well thought-out
Pros: Shaped (pretty much) like a traditional bell; weight changes are super quick and easy Cons: A lot of plastic, slight rattling from the weight plates New to kettlebell training, so I don't have a lot of experience to rate this against other types of bells. The handle and top of the dome that you see in the picture is metal, the red part is a plastic dome that conceals the weight plates. It seems sturdy enough for its intended use (lifting, swinging, etc.), but I could imagine shattering the plastic pretty easily if I dropped it on a hard surface. The internals seem pretty solid though. Not perfectly round, it's slightly flattened on the sides parallel with the handle, but the top portion is round. Weight changeover is amazingly quick, pull down a rubber bumper on the side, slide the pin out, put it back in the new hole, flip the bumper back up, and lift. Five seconds, tops, and foolproof. It has an internal weight stack, unused weights remain on the floor on an included mat. My other first impression is that it is pretty big--think volleyball size. Doesn't bother me, but it's considerably bigger than the 35-pound solid bell at my gym. A typical 16-pound fitness bell would probably be a third of the size.

Absolutely incredible
I just received this thing today, so I cannot speak to it's longevity. However, I am absolutely blown away by the design of this thing. It is extremely easy and fast to switch between weights, the cast iron grip is extremely durable and wide enough for 2 hands, and perhaps the biggest surprise is how well balanced it is. I was expecting this to be poorly balanced when at the lower weights, but that isn't the case at all. Whether I'm doing 16 or 36 pounds, all exercises feel the same regardless of the weight. I am also not even the slightest bit concerned about any of the weights falling out or being a safety hazard, the rubber flap on the side is magnetically connected to the iron handle. This thing is also STURDY, I weigh 185 pounds and was able to do pushups off the handle as advertised, no wobbling or fear of the thing breaking at all. I am HIGHLY IMPRESSED AND HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT. The only disadvantages that I can find are that yes it is a bit big for the size, especially at the lower weights. The whole kettlebell size is about the size of a normal 75 pound cast iron kettlebell. It's not overbearingly large, but just something to think about. Of course if you are looking at this product then it's probably because you wanted to save space too, and you can't have both small size and adjustable weight in one. The only true disappointment I have with this product is that there's not a heavier version. 36 pounds is enough for beginner and mid level people, but for me I wish that it went up to 50 or 60 pounds. If this company had a heavier version then I would buy it in a heartbeat

Well made and I like it
I have ordered a second Versa-Bell after using the first one for about an month. This is a great kettlebell. Having one piece of equipment that can replace six or seven is a great plus. The adjustment is simple and takes only seconds. Pull the lock pin out of its current position and place in in the desired hole, close the nice rubber flap and you're done. The handle is large, sturdy and rough to prevent slipping so I use my weightlifting gloves for protection. I travel with this every week and it beats the heck out of using the usually poorly maintained hotel equipment.

Great adjustable kettlebell
Pros: Not too large, easy weight change, nice range of weights Cons: None! The first issue many people bring up is the size. I'm a 5'5" female and it is not too large or annoying for me. It is about the size of a volleyball with two flat sides. I haven't had issues with any movements and being restricted. The second issue people seem to have is the weights clanging. Yes, the weights clang, especially during swings, but there is an easy fix. I rolled up a tissue, tore it in half, taped it on either side of the hole in the top weight, then set the bell down, slid the pin in, and viola! no clanging. You can't put the pin in for 16lbs when you do this, but it's no big deal. I just lay the pin on the handy mat. The mat does smell terrible when you take it out of the package, but after a few days you don't notice it unless you put your nose to the mat. I would highly recommend this adjustable kettlebell. You can't beat the price for what you get.

Great Kettlebell
Best kettlebell I have ever used. It is well balance making it easy to control. The weight is easy and quick to change so you can get to your workout and change weight for different movements as needed. There is a slight rattle like some have suggested in other reviews but nothing unexpected with a pin type adjustment. The quality and finishing seems to be top notch but I will update this review as time will tell on the durability. Great product and I would purchase again.

Two years later, and I still love this little guy
When I first purchased the Stamina adjustable Kettle Versa-Bell, I was of the belief that: a) dang, that's expensive for what it is!, and b) this seems too good to be true (in that it will function, as advertised). Two years later, and it proved itself a terrific purchase, well worth the money spent. While it clinks around and is slightly bigger (1/4 or more) than a regular kettle bell of its weight, this is a terrific piece of equipment. Weights stay in place with no fear of latch release, with said weight very evenly distributed. Meaning - and importantly - the benefits of kettle bell training (it momentum and weight shift) isn't lost due to this adjustable design. I'm also a big fan of the high quality handle, one that feels sturdy and doesn't peel away (common among cheaper, single weight kettle bells). The rubber mat to rest it on is also very nice quality. Functionally - and for this user - I would NOT recommend getting two of these based on increased radius (for two bell drills). Visions of clinking bells (into one another) immediately come to mind. This does limit available exercises, but not enough for me to recommend buying 10 separate kettle bells to compensate for alternating arms/legs/sides. My only criticism is a minor one...but worth noting. The central, top part of the bell tends to pop off on occasion, and I'm left putting it pack into place. It doesn't detract from functionality, but I'm a bit disappointed in seeing my beloved piece of equipment have occasional wardrobe malfunctions. All in all, however, this is an outstanding piece of equipment for smaller spaces, and a nice weight range to get results from. My apologies to the poor delivery guys having to deal with me ordering weights via Prime. :)

Great Purchase
I found this to be a great purchase. It arrived from Ontario to Nova Scotia, 1 week before Christmas in 2 days - I was amazed! The product is terrific. The kettlebell is oversized, but I like it. It swings well & is very stable. The handle size is great for transitions between hands. Adjustment between weights is quick. I keep checking the pin to see if it has come out, but it does not - very secure. The sound that some reviews talk about is very minimal & compared to the noise of weights in a gym, it is nothing & a little music takes care of it anyway. I am very please with this purchase & the price was very reasonable.

This is a great unit for beginners, it is wonderful to have all the different weights so different family members can get a good workout. Sturdy quality, and the shipping was quick.

Great product!
This is a great beginner-Intermediate kettlebell, and is about the same size as the professional series (perhaps a bit larger). PROS: Very convenient to have selection of weights in one small package. Sturdy, doesn't make me worry that it's going to break. Great price. You save a lot of money getting the versatility you can achieve with just one kettlebell. Saves space. CONS: The plastic has a very strong smell to it, so when doing swings you can definitely smell something chemically wafting up from it. The weight of the kettlebell shell alone is 16 lbs, which makes it difficult to do more obscure or advanced movements with good form. As a beginner, I found it difficult to do the kettlebell snatch with it as the bulkiness of it as well as its weight were cumbersome. As I became stronger, this no longer was an issue, however. The pin is difficult to fit in the hole at times, since the shell must be placed PERFECTLY on top of the weights. This hassle I believe is outweighed by the price and variation of weights you get with this kettlebell, however. OVERALL: Highly recommend this for beginners-intermediate kettlebell enthusiasts! Make sure you practice proper form, and take a class if you can. This kettlebell is a great mid-range, though beginners may want to also purchase a smaller weight to practice more difficult movements with perfect form before moving up in weight. Even for advanced, I think this is a great way to get a space-saving multiple weighted kettlebell. If you're on the fence- just get it!

So quick and easy to use
So quick and easy to use. I was hoping to be able to change weights 4-5x in a workout and it's very fluid and easy to do so.
