Samsung USB to 21Pin Data Cable for Galaxy S5 and Note 3 N9000, White (Non-Retail Packaging)

I’m really hard on these things so this back up does the job

One of my grants needed it for their tablets. So I had a charger at my house. It's working fine. I don't use it on a daily basis.

After my charger cord died on me randomly one day, I spent over a week trying to find a replacement. I went to 4 different stores, plus calling my mobile carrier trying to find a cord that works with my phone and outlet charger. It was hard finding one with the s5 port. I purchased 5 different cords form various brands and stores and none worked for one reason or another.This cord works! There is no security message that pops up, it charges my phone via USB port or with my original Samsung wall plug. Great price compared to what they sell through Samsung. The cord does say Samsung, not sure if it's actually a Samsung product or not, but it works so I don't much care.My only problem is when I plug it into my USB port in my car. On my car's display/gps screen it says can not access USB. But it still charges, even if I have to jiggle the cord. Not sure if this the charger cord or my car's issue.

I don't normally take the time to leave reviews on products I purchase here but am making an exception in this case. I bought two of these cables for my Galaxy S5. The first one worked fine and the second one was defective. My laptop would not recognize my phone and Windows informed me the last USB I plugged into the device was malfunctioning. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement cable. It arrived in faster time than my original order took that was placed through Amazon! All they asked was that I return the defective cable so that they could test it and the defective cable was mailed to them today. Both cables work flawlessly!So I am giving a big "Thumbs Up!" to the seller!Don't know why some reviewers say this will not work with the Galaxy S5. It most certainly does work with the S5. The cable is a tight fit, as is the OEM cable that I received with my phone. I notice that you almost have to be perfectly aligned with any cable you use on the Galaxy S5 and have to insert it straight in and not at an angle. It is not as forgiving as the mini cables on other phones.Hope this review helps those of you who may be undecided.I recommend these cables and I highly recommend this seller!

This charger I purchased off of a whim. I wasn't;t sure how much longevity I would have gotten out of it. BUT, this charger is AMAZING. I've had it over 5 years and it still works. Despite me not using the phone as much; I every now and then charge it up too look at old photos. However, if your still using this phone this charger is really great. As long as you take care of it, wrap it up nicely, and tuck it away in a safe place this charger will last you a long while. You will not be disappointed.

Works perfectly well, long enough to move with

Going on the 4th year of owning and still using my Galaxy S5, my factory OEM Samsung charging cable that came with my phone finally split and frayed from all the bending from the connection point between the phone and the cable. So, I came to Amazon hoping there was a replacement cable that can replace my factory OEM one from Samsung instead of making a trip to the cellphone store to pay even more for a replacement cable.I came across this product in hopes that it'll work. So far the cable is holding up well and continues to charge my Galaxy S5. The cable connection to the phone has a tight secure fit, and doesn't come loose at all when using the phone when plugged into a PC or a wall adapter.A lot of people comment about the charging speed of the OEM cable versus replacement ones you find on the internet. OF course the speed will vary if charging via a computer, or the AC plug-in adapter (whether it's Samsung's wall adapter or an OEM adapter).

Almost indistinguishable from the cord that came stock with the phone. I bough 3 of them as replacements since my brother has ruined 2 of his cords already (He claims he doesn't sleep on it, yet the plugin is next to his bed, almost on it, and his cord is flattened in the middle of the bed.) But, these seem to be durable and perfect. Great quality, and at a good cost.Unfortunately, I assumed the cord came with the power box, so I had to steal one from a friend, since my brother lost his box. So know before you buy, THIS IS ONLY THE CHARGING CABLE.I thought this would have been a cute, sassy, and smart stocking stuffer for someone with an s5, who is prone to ruining cords (my brother). So when you think about buying cords like this, don't be afraid to buy a few, and never have to worry about it again. They've lasted me a while and have withstood lots of travel, throwing around, and sleeping on.
