I never, ever want to run out of this product because it’s been helping me to start my lawnmowers in the springtime. After I had to pay someone to clean the gunk out of my mower’s gas lines, I tried putting some of this into the gas tank the last time I mowed for the season. Then I used up all of the gas so it could be stored empty for the winter. I did the same thing with the new mower I had to buy while the old one was waiting to be repaired. Both mowers started the following spring on the first or second pull and they ran perfectly all summer. I’ve been doing this for three years now. My old, ratty mower started on the first pull this spring. I’m noticing that it’s running really well on the gas I stored over the winter in a gas can that had this product added. I’m not sure how it makes it run so much better, but it seems to get better “mileage” than it does without using this product. I did some research and learned that using this helps to keep the gas lines clean all summer, so I’m planning to use it regularly. Being a senior woman makes it difficult to start a mower with clogged lines and my mowers don’t have primer buttons. I have to mow half an acre and I need good running mowers. Taking lots of breaks requires extra starts and this product is helping my mowers start more easily. No more wearing myself out and looking like an idiot while trying to start a clogged mower. This bottle is a great bargain compared to local big box store prices. It usually lasts for years so I’m good to go.

Best fuel preservative in my experience. I use fuel preservative in my lawn equipment gasoline. I have purchased a number of different products over the years and have found Stabil File Stabilizer to be the best. I have never had Stabil-treated fuel sitting in my equipment over the winter months to cause starting problems in the spring. I know it's best to drain gas for winter storage but let's face it, I just don't get around to it every year. There are many stabilizers on the market, some work well and others don't. I know Stabil works so I have stuck with it over the last 5 years to great success.

I used to put this in any gas for my lawn tractor that I had leftover at the end of each cutting season (usually mid-December). It always kept the gas from going stale from then until I resumed cutting around April 1st of the following year. Now, instead of keeping leftover gas, I put it in my car and buy fresh gas for the lawn tractor around the end of March each year.

Sta-bil is one of those practically universal products that most of us use for seasonal gasoline like lawnmowers etc. I am use to buying it in smaller containers locally. Having bought this larger one online, and living at over 7000 feet, I wasnt thinking when I pierced the smaller dispensing seal, and the thing overflowed probably 3/4 - 1 oz of product all over my hands, the bottle, the floor, etc. I never seemed to have had this issue in the past with the smaller bottles, so I was caught by surprise by the mess. My only comment is, you probably want to open the bigger cap first and pierce its seal to avoid my mishap. Keep in mind that Sta-bil recommends a max 2 year shelf life, so if you aren't planning on treating 80 gallons of gas in the next 2 years, I'd suggest the smaller bottle, or simply using more than called for after that date.

Very good item, worked fine in a car I had that I added to then let sit almost 2 years, car did start. Its hard to fully test this items claims of keeping fuel fresh for up to 9-12 mo. But I did add it in a car and then tried to start after about 1 3/4 years, and after some back firing, car started. But to be noted was that it was a 93 Metro with zero computers that I added this stuff to it before storing. I also added 2 gallons pure fuel(non-ethanol) to the tank. I imagine any car with a computer could throw fits with anything other than close to really clean fuel. This item is great to throw into any 2 cycle engine when storing or sitting more than 3 mo. This stuff great for older cars. A friend of mine owns 3 classic cars and adds it to his tank every 6 mo and has never had any issues.

This is a great product have been using this for years. Every winter when I put my Corvette away I throw this in works like a charm same for lawnmower and any motor that’s going to sit for a period of time.

Must have for storing any marine fuel systems over winter. I use it in my two 90's Yamaha jet skis with 2stroke premixed engines. I get two years use out of this one bottle, good value.

Been using this product for many years. No problems starting my lawn mower, snow blower or pressure washer year after year.
