haven't used the string yet. refinishing longbow and ordered string. it was as described and is well waxed. won't know more until bow is finished and string is installed.

I recently purchased this bowstring... it is the correct length, however the loops are too small to fit onto my longbow. It may be a problem with the type of longbow, however it would be nice if the loop measurements were listed in the product description.

This string really is strong. I like it. I use it for my 6 foot long bow

The string fit well and works just fine on my bow. I believe this is a fine product with nice colors.

I wish I had seen the other review before I bought this product, but alas, it hadn't been posted yet. It's true what the other reviewer said. The loops on the ends are way too small. You'd think this wouldn't be a problem, since the notches for bowstring loops on bows aren't that wide in diameter anyway, but the thing is, you have to slide the loop further down a bow in order to string it. And this one won't go past the notches, so I can't string my bow. If your longbow is strung another way that doesn't require you to do that, then this is a well-made, strong longbow string. But for me it's just another piece of junk sitting in my craft supply drawer.
