Lasted for 10 years
I bought this little scale in December 2015. It is now May 2025, and it has only just now died. I love this little scale! Absolutely worth the money, and I hope the new one I am purchasing will last another 10 years

Cute and accurate
I'm very happy with the new version. I mostly used the g and ml options which goes to even smaller measurements. So 28g=1 oz, and this beauty reads 15.3g instead of 15g. I feel it's more reliable and accurate than the old version. It's easy to use and clean. It's stay put. I love the red color. Hopefully, it'll last 4+ years like the previous one.

This helped me start my fitness journey. Works good but could be better.
It doesn't accurately measure a gram, it just kinda jumps to the next one. For example: if you are trying to get 1.5 grams of salt. You will have to decide if you want 1 gram or 2 grams by adding or removing some of it. It will just jump from 1g to 2g. If you want to be precise, get another scale that can measure .01g or .001g. But this one works fine as it just has a minimum of 1g and highest of 11.24lbs.This is a must-have if you are into calorie counting. Trying to lose weight, trying to be healthy, or just want to have the right measure for the right recipe. Good size scale, durable and battery last a long time with some nice features.

I love this scale
This scale has been a terrific tool. I highly recommend it. It’s very easy to use and is affordable. It’s a simple design and easy to tare weight and switch units. It automatically shuts off which is good for me so I don’t have to remember to shut it off. That feature may be a small hiccup for people who take a long time between weighing things so just remember to be mindful of it.

Buttons respond almost instantly, very accurate
Our old kitchen scale was slow to turn on/off and slow to change units. This one is almost instant. This also has about an inch more distance from the back of the measuring platform to the top (or back) of the LCD display, so it can handle larger containers and still be readable. But the clincher is, it weighs down to 1 gram. Our previous scale started at about 6-8g and I was never confident that it was accurate for the small measures. And it wasn't. I weighed a pop-off prescription cap with this, it read 2g (took about 2 seconds after initially reading 1g - about 5sec overall). Our previous digital scale registered 0g. I weighed that cap with a precise (+/- 2mg) scale and it weighed 2.21g.Very minor CONS: When I put the batteries in, I could tell that the base is just very thin plastic- has a cheap feel to it. As another commenter mentioned, when you pour ingredients in, the display takes time to update (much faster than our old one, though). I'd say about 700-800mSec. So, when you're getting close to the amount desired, slow down and add the rest slowly until you reach the desired weight. To me, this is a non-problem.I hope it lasts (other comments I've read say it will last for years). For the price I paid (53% off), this is a great buy!

Excellent diet aide!
So much fun to use that I've lost 30 lbs.JK. I have lost 30 lbs, but of course counting calories carefully is the key- and this scale certainly helps in that regard. It's easy to use, nice big display, looks cute, and the red color makes me happy. It's also more reliable than the fancy name-brand scale I bought at the BBB store for around 3x the price.Happy (and skinnier) dieter here.Hope this helps & good luck to all in your weight loss journey :)

Most bang for the buck
This is a great scale for the money (~$10). It should be sufficient for any normal kitchen work. It works in any standard English or Metric measurements. Tare functions are with a single button push.I bought this to replace my previous scale (from another manufacturer) which died a horrible death. This new unit has only 2 differences as far as I can tell. 1. Measurement resolution = 1 gram. My old unit had 0.1-gram resolution which I thought I needed. 2. Cost $10 versus $20.Unless you are doing laboratory work the resolution difference is irrelevant. For lab work get a lab scale (much more $$).NOTE: Although units of this type appear to be waterproof, don't trust it!I measured coffee shots, often spilling some on the top of the scale. Before long I noticed a coffee discoloration of the display. I cleaned up the mess and restored normal operation, but the damage was done and in 2 months total death occurred.
