I LOVE that it has Bluetooth too
I am completely surprised I the quality of sound the bar puts out! The price may appear high, but when you compare it to a decent receiver, speakers it will end up saving money.I LOVE that it has Bluetooth too. I can play my music without the television. Nice touch!

MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED!!
Skeptical of the speaker bars but my mother wanted one for her tv. I went with this version after talking to Samsung and pairing it with my Samsung Plasma. She loves it, and with the tube sound it is warm and loud, it provides great sound really much better than I expected for the entire room. Samsung makes a great product just talk to them about pairing the right speaker bar to the room size and tv you have

Bad build quality and bad service
I bought this sound bar on the basis of Amazon reviews. I agree that the sound is good although it is expensive for what it is.The big problem is reliability. I've had to return this unit for repair. Samsung returned a reconditioned unit with a new problem. I sent it back a second time. One month after the sound bar stopped connecting with the subwoofer. I spent hours with Samsung reps and with their FAQ page. Nothing could fix the problem. I've called Samsung four time. Each time they promise to resolve the problem but fail to followup. It is not a good indication of Samsung's quality control that the sound bar failed in the first place. Samsung then shipped the "repaired" unit without checking to see if it was working properly. Now, for the third time, the sound bar is again broken and Samsung is delaying repair.Samsung quality control and service are not good. At this price both should be much better.

OK, except for the Auto-Power-Down mis-feature
It doesn't sound too bad, maybe above average for a soundbar. I find the high end is somewhat muted, is thankfully not nasal or over-bright, but does lack some sizzle. Unit has an auto-power-down "feature" where it turns off after 15 or 20 minutes of no audio input. According to Samsung support this is NOT configurable, cannot be disabled (the manual implies it can, but didn't work for me). Means if you idle playback for 15 minutes, it all turns off. This is dumb and unacceptable, and a big reason I'm returning it.

Too expensive, buggy product
Packaging:Even though this sound bar is quite expensive, there are no included HDMI or TOSLINK cables, only AUX cable, which you probably will not want to use as with it, as you will have to manually turn on/off the sound bar, or wait 8(!) hours before it goes to standby itself.TV Usability via HDMI:However even with HDMI and TOSLINK cables it is far from perfect, e.g. in case of HDMI, even if you connect it to TV to HDMI ARC port. In that case TV's remote is able to control the volume of soundbar and turning off soundbar when turning off TV. However you need to use sound bar to turn on the sound bar, but often soundbar will not turn on TV ARC mode, but rather in TV mode without any sound coming from TV and I have to turn off/on soundbar and switch the source manually several times.TV Usability via TOSLink cable:In case of TOSLINK cable some HDMI problems are solved, but others appeared. With it, the remote will turn on the sound bar with TV, which is great, but now you can't control volume with TV's remote. And you need to turn off sound bar manually or it will turn off automatically in 15 minutes with a loud chiming sound. So you have to use two remotes again and overall HDMI ARC is better than TOSLINK.Overall I'm surprised that they couldn't implement the same features for HDMI and TOSLINK. Soundbar should not add any complexities to operate TV, but it is not the case now. At least with Samsung LED TV model of 2012.Bluetooth:Finally Samsung matched Sony in this regard and I can connect to Soundbar Bluetooth when it is in standby mode and I don't need to manually turn on soundbar and select BT source. For this price I would expect aptX to be enabled (I think it is there but simply disabled due to marketing purposes), but it is not here, it is enabled only in even more expensive 850 which hasn't been updated yet this year. Also for some reason in Bluetooth mode you have do long press to switch to next/previous track. All other Bluetooth devices I used had the opposite - short press to switch next/previous track, long press to fast forward/backward.Sound:Sound is very subjective. However I would definitely prefer that Subwoofer crossover frequency was lower, it seems that it is set pretty high. With all these disadvantages, it fits our living room perfectly and has great looks and remote doesn't look cheap. I was on market for soundbar for almost a year and this is the best I could find so far. I hope future updates of firmware will fix some issues. It has also some other features such as Wi-Fi music streaming via Samsung Shape, but I haven't used that and will unlikely use it.UPDATE 6/7/2014:One more bug: Soundbar quite often turns itself off after 15 minutes even if music through Bluetooth is still playing (regardless of volume).

Otherwise the sound quality is amazing, good
this system is loud!! I had the subwoofer cranked and was blaring Star Wars and my wife said she could hear it down the road! The only downside is sometimes the hdmi gets a little finicky and won't pick up a signal so you have to screw with it a little. Otherwise the sound quality is amazing, good, deep sound

Very warm sound
II bought this for my parents after hearing the disappointing sound quality of a lower-end sound bar. Wow. Warm, warm, warm. The tube conditioner in the sound bar really is a nice touch. Wireless sub sounds clean and punchy, with symphonic upright bass coming in clear from the bar and sub. Bluetooth works great, as does the Samsung sound link or whatever (they have a Samsung 7000 series TV). I can't think of any other package that delivers better sound for under $700.

I wish it were more configurable.
Can't turn off the power on/off sound, for example. Frustrating. No real fine tuning for the sub.But the build and sound quality are good.
