I love Starbuck's coffee but this machine makes better Decaf using their Pike's Place brand than I get at Starbuck's. I suspect it is because I can make it stronger than they do at Starbucks. That is one of the reasons I did not buy a K-cup brand. While I have never owned one I suspect those little pods cannot make a really strong 16 oz cup of coffee.The machine itself takes up very little counter space - no more than a single cup brewer we had previously. It is easy to use; it must be as I did not read the instructions! It does not require filters but my wife bought some anyway. That just makes cleaning slightly easier and does filter out some of the fine grind that may get through the mesh that the machine comes with.I only use the machine to make a single 16oz cup of coffee so it works fine for less than 4 cups. Starbucks first ground the bag of coffee using cone/paper filter setting. That is too fine. They graciously gave me another bag ground using the Metal setting. That works fine using a rounded 1/4 cup of grounds for 16 oz. But I may try the setting a little coarser than Metal on my next bag.

So far so good. Had this for about a month. It’s quite small — only makes two mugs of coffee at a time — but it gets quite hot so brews a flavorful cup. The mesh filter allows you to make coffee without a paper filter. Expect a little sludge at the bottom of the pot, but not much.

Was looking for a small coffee maker and this fit the bill. I use a paper filter along with the permanent filter that comes with it and still get coffee grounds in the pot. That and the fact that it has no auto shut off are my only complaints. It does make great coffee and is very easy to use.

Received my small coffee pot quickly and have used it twice now. It's easy to use. Makes great coffee with the little "built in" filter. Makes and keeps coffee hot. Also has a shut off feature to the warmer plate after about 40 minutes. I'm very satisfied and recommend.

This is an attractive Unit and it bews coffeefaster than my older Unit. Unfortunately it has a major problem. Coffee grounds in the brrafe has ewed coffee. I use Starbucks ground for paper. I tried it with a paper filter and both a paper and metal filter with the same result. The product description indicates the carafe has cup marking, but mine did not. There is a white bar inside the basin klwith the number of cups. This is not very convient. Cleaning is not easy because you just remove the top to clean the basket.

I am so sorry, I have tried and tried to send this coffee pot back, I put it in the out going mail and they sent it back.I went to the post office and I found out that this is the wrong label. That is what they told me at the post office. I have the pot in my car, trying to figure out how to let someone know what was going on. I was not able to get through on the phone. So, thank God I was able to send a message.

The machine works as advertised. I stopped using the filter basket and use paper filters. Only because I’m lazy. The coffee brews fairy quickly and quietly. I do wish the coffee brewed hotter. Overall I guess you get what you pay for.

This is the perfect size coffee pot for a couple of cups of coffee in the morning. It makes a pot really quickly. It’s a great little setup for those who don’t have a large amount of counter space like me.
