Good for interviews.
This lavalier is even better than the one that comes with the transmitter. It is pretty neat, gets a great sound. I used it for a documentary, filmed inside very noisy places, and it proved just fine.

Recommended by Kraig Adams from the Youtube page Weding Film School. Sounds great. Not a full 5 cause the cable is sensitive and it's a mono not stereo recording. I could hear a little noise when I touch the cable. Other than that, the sound is great!

Wireless clip-on/lavalier condenser microphone with a cardioid polar pattern. Mono mic.
Very good audio pickup pattern and sound. This is a mono mic which is what I needed. I have it concealed under my shirt and hooked up to a pocket recorder. No distortion for my simple needs. I did remove the 3.5 mm plug and replaced it with a 2.5 mm plug I soldered on since my Olympus recorder uses a 2.5 mm jack.

Nice replacement for broken mic
I purchased this as a replacement mic for my wireless system. My mic was broken by a customer and I found this mic to be exactly what I was looking for. It comes with a wind cover, though the photo doesn't show one. It was a little larger than my old lavalier mic, but the sound quality is outstanding.

okay upgrade
bought this along with the audio technica wireless system and is much better then the microphone that comes with it but the chord is too small and is not good for taller performers. the Microphone is an upgrade but not all that. hope this helps. if you really need a mic get it, better then anything that is out there for the price.

Audio Technica - generally good stuff
While I've not tested this mic in the field yet, I did want everyone to know that it works just fine with my Azden transmitters. Solidly built, altho a bit big if you're trying to conceal it. Will post more as I use it.I've owned various Audio Technica gear over the years and it has served me well.

Worth the upgrade.
A worthwhile upgrade to the Audio Technica Pro 88 wireless lav. Noticeably improves the vocal quality.
