Fantastic product!!! Changed my life in dealing with my ostomy.Have been using this for a few years now but never wrote a review until now. A apologize for the delay.Other products stated they deodorize and didnt, or very briefly did. Or they just had a nice smell to them but didnt deodorize at all. It made wanting to go outside impossible. Always worried about the smell and grew self cautious about it. Didnt really go out at all.I stumbled in this as the other stuff I was using wasn't going t be delivered in time and I panicked looking for another option. Then I found this. The blue color and no scent through me off but I needed something so I gave it a shot.BEST THING EVER!!!!!There was no smell!! I didn't have to spray deodorizer in the room before and after emptying or changing. This product was a game changer!. I'm now able and unable to be out in public for fear of the smell. It doesn't damage the ostomy bag either. A little squirt and smells are gone. Price is great too. I order two bottle every two weeks just beaus I dont ever want to run out of this product.

My insurance covers the M9 deodorizer but they hardly do anything no matter how much I put in the bag! I can put 2 or 3 drops of this and it eliminates all smell!

When I first got my ostomy, there were so many adjustments to make. It can be a difficult time. One of the things I struggled with most was the bag odor. I tried a few different things, but nothing was working. Then I came across Safe n' Simple Ostomy Pouch Deodorant and it's been a godsend!With just a small amount (a little squirt), the pouch and content order is eliminated. I have to say I was totally surprised after using it the first time. Now, I order it 3 bottles at a time, because I never want to run out, and I like to have one available in each restroom. One bottle will last me a few weeks, so it's a great price for how long it lasts. Trust me when I say, if finding an ostomy bag deodorant that truly works, is what you need, then this is the product you've been looking for!

It works covering that disgusting smell when it is time to empty it

Bought the unscented blue tint bottle. Not as good as the clear version. Had a skin reaction to the blue tint. Can stain if not careful. Will go back to the clear unscented Safe and Simple.

Although not perfect (I doubt anything is), this deodorant does a great job at keeping the odor down. Also, it lubricates the ostomy bag pretty well so the output can be emptied easier. Again, it isn't a perfect lubricant, but I have noticed the difference whenever it wasn't used. As far as the deodorant's own odor, it has none, or none that I have noticed, but since it is blue, be careful as it can stain clothing/etc., but it can be washed away easily enough.

This product does not work AT ALL! I read all of the glowing reviews, thinking that this would help my mom. She recently had surgery and was pretty upset about needing an osteomy bag. So, I’ve been trying to make things easier for her while we focus on healing until it can be reversed. This product didn’t deodorize, not even a tiny bit. I also don’t like the blue fluid and wonder about it touching the opening of her stomach. It was not a sound decision to buy this product. I was able to get a refund by speaking to Amazon customer service. I have reported this product as well. It should not be sold to anyone. What helped with the smell was turning on the fan and opening the window. We also use a natural air freshener spray that works well and the smell doesn’t last long using those methods.
