A great addition to the collection
I haven't read the comic this guy comes from, but I loved his design and after doing research into the character, it convinced me to get him. Highly recommend.

Don't shake the hand of this droid
This figure is 0-0-0 (triple 0) from the current run of Star Wars comic books from Marvel Comics. This character was first seen in the Darth Vader comics (First Volume), reactivated by Doctor Aphra, and was showcased in the current run of Star Wars Doctor Aphra until recently. As a side note, a short description of this character would be: mix Edward Scissor Hands with C-3PO and Hannibal Lecter and you get triple 0.The sculpt of this figure is based on C-3PO figure, replacing the arms with the 4-LOM figure. As such, triple 0 shares the head sculpt, upper torso, mid drift wiring, lower torso and legs as C-3PO. The arms are straight from 4-LOM, down to the extra hands. This figure is painted mostly gun-metal dark grey, with some silver scuffs painted on. The eyes are painted red with white pupils. The wiring on the mid drift mostly follows C-3PO color scheme of silver, dark red and marine blue, but are better defined than in C-3PO. Regardless, the most important difference on this figure (IMHO) are the new sculpted hands. To describe the intended sculpted hands of this droid, each finger is equipped with an surgical instrument intended for torturing victims. It easy to notice the circular saw protruding from his right thumb, but other instruments are not so clear: syringe from his right index, various scalpels from right middle, ring and pinky fingers, drills from his left index and thumb, more scalpels from his left middle and pinky fingers and mini flamethrower from his left ring finger. All these are painted on silver and the flame effect from the flamethrower is candy red. One could complain, but the sculpt and paint of the fingers do the job without entering into model kit territory.Articulation- Ball-socket head, hinged neck, ball-socket torso,- Ball-hinged shoulders, swivel cut biceps, hinged Elbows, ball-hinged left-right torture hands.- Ball-socket hips, swivel cut thighs, hinged knees, rocker swivel ankles.AccessoriesTriple Zero includes two normal hands, finger trigger right hand and grasping left hand both with up-down ball-hinge. these seem to be the original hands of 4-LOM, so not much effort had been put on the extras, but is nice to have some extras. If you don't know the source material, this figure may be an easy pass. However, if you like this droid in the comics and are a figure collector then you should seriously consider buying this figure. Be warned, if you buy this figure you may as well buy BT-1 and Doctor Aphra. I was going to get only Doctor Aphra, having little love for 0-0-0 and some curiosity about BT-1. However, I'm happy about my purchase of this figure.

Not like C-3PO.
I read the Marvel Darth Vader series and I really liked Triple Zero. I'm glad Hasbro decided to make him for their black series. 000 is nothing like your average protocol droid, he's more of an assassin droid. Read the story and you'll probably want to get him too!
