Good product!
I purchased this item to attach a dash camera to my Ebike. Worked great with just drilling one hole and installing one bolt to connect together. I'm using a $19 dash camera (after rebate) and this $10 mounting kit. I couldn't find anything under $60 that would work.

Finally a Stable Mount for my Dashcam!
We live in the mountains with extreme temperatures, so in winter, the dashcam usually ends up dangling by its cord. Suction cups and 20 degree and lower temps are NOT compatible! I was a bit frightened when I dumped out the bag of what seemed like an endless array of mounts, but one matched my dashcam perfectly and another matched my husband's. Screwing on the second wingnut (getting it started) was REALLY frustrated, as it didn't want to start and I didn't have much room to work, but it's up and unless my rear view mirror falls off, it's staying put!! A dashcam is useless if it won't stay up!! It's further from the windshield than before, but at least I don't have to wrestle with it any more! Great investment at a reasonable price!

Worked for me
Lost the suction cup of a dash cam I bought a while ago and this worked. The bit that fit my dash cam was a bit loose but alittle tape to fill in the gaps did the trick. Trust this a lot more than a suction cup

Nice mount except …
Nice mount but.. it makes the dashcam very shaky. The footage is viewable but not stable compare to be on suction cup pressed on the window.

Rearview Mirror Mount for Dash Cam
I ordered one mounting kit from another seller to try it on my cars in the family. It seemed to work. So I ordered 3 more from QveeQ. The kits came with various attachments. None of them are perfect fit for my various Apeman dash cams, but I found some close enough. The amounts are sturdy. A lot better than the suction cups that would fall off once a while. The only gripe is that out of the 3 kits, one came without the rubber strip for the clamp. It is not a big deal. I guess some people won't even bother to install the mount with the rubber strip.

Works great - bit of a learning curve - but...got it!
No real instructions, you have to figure out which connections pieces ( in the big bag of options) fit your camera - then it works great. No more falling off my window in the heat. Now - what to do with all the left over connection pieces? ha. Tho - seriously - a great product that does exactly what I needed - to hang my camera from the rear view mirror 'stem'? - whatever it's called - this contraption works.

big disappointment
I am very disappointed with this product. The documentation is pitiful -- it is extremely vague and hard to understand. The product comes with many interchangeable parts ---- a couple of pieces that are used no matter what, two pairs of screws of different sizes, and then many different things that can attach to the camera. I identified the camera mount easily, but it was downhill from there . It said to use the screws of the right size but gave no guidance as to how to select them. I have a large mirror and figured I'd try the larger ones. It said attach this, that, and that, and then attach to the mirror. I could find no way to get it on my mirror without throwing the "strap" behind the mirror, then screwing it into the other pieces after the fact. The wingnut to tighten it took absolutely forever to tighten, given the large screw and the lack of leverage when already attached to the mirror, so I think it took me 45 minutes to assemble this. When I was done, I had something that hangs loosely, and rocks back and forth, often hanging at an angle so the recording is crooked. I'm sure I put it together wrong, but I simply didn't have the info to do it right.

Much better mounting method than suction cups
I never thought suction cups on a windshield was a good idea, but for the longest time that is all there was. then some genius came up with a way to mount your dashcam to the rearview mirror mounting post. what a brilliant idea. it takes a bit of jocking to install it (no so much if the mirror can be dismounted) but once it is attached, it will stay there until the Yellowstone super volcano blows. will never go back to suction cup mounts and with a little ingenuity, it can be adapted to other devices, like radar detectors and such.
