Norpro Magnetic Lid Wand, 1 Ounce, Green

It works just like it says, no more using tongs or burning my fingers on hot canning lids. The price was great too.

I bought this to help get the lids out of the boiling water when I can and it makes it so much easier. No more burning yourself or dropping the lids on the floor. The magnet is strong enough it is able to hang onto the canning lids, however, getting the lids of the magnet is also very easy. Made the whole canning process much easier.

It works great and the best thing is that I don't burn my fingers when trying to get lids out of hot water. I have canned food for many years and never knew that this was a item that I would need. I am very satisfied with how it works and it is easy to store with my canning supplies.

Love this magnetic wand. It works great for picking up the lids when I’m canning. It looks like it is made of good quality and some durability. I hope to be able to use this for many more years of canning

Does it's job but we found that we would have liked it to have a bit stronger magnet to hold the lids firmer while removing from the water bath and placing on the jars.

I had another type I used for years for all my canning when the magnet finally fell out. I was surprised when I ordered this one that the magnet seems so much stronger and picks up the lid on the first try.

Lid lifter and canning lid rack look great. I will certainly use them.
