Would not purchase again
We purchased 6 of these for a trip to Disney World in the middle of June. Upon receiving these Frogg Toggs, I read the instructions and washed them all as recommended. I then hung them up to dry until they were bone dry. They are very difficult to bend and fit into their containers when they are dry- they almost feel like a stiff cardboard towel. Everything seemed fine with them after I was able to get them back into their storage containers. Two days later, we arrived in Disney World. I wet three of the towels and placed them back into their storage containers (which have little holes for air flow in them) the night before we went to the parks to minimize things we had to do in the morning before all the activities. The next morning, as we were adding some last minute items to our backpack, I thought I noticed some black spots through the container on one of the bright orange Frogg Toggs. I pulled it out of it's container to investigate and found the spots to be mold. Not just black mold spots, but also white foamy spots, too. Shocked, I looked at another Frogg Togg and it too had a couple black mold spots. I checked the third one we packed and it was fine.I thought that maybe they molded because they sat overnight while damp. I soaked a fourth Frogg Togg so that we would have two while at the parks (for a family of three). That was around 8:30 am. My family and I weren't too hot until after lunch, around 1:00 pm or so. I pulled out one of the Frogg Toggs and guess what? Yes, mold spots! I threw it back in the backpack and pulled out the other one we brought, which was fine and without mold. We draped it over my daughter (3 years old) but it did not seem to cool her down very much. I tried it on my neck and I didn't feel too much cooler until a good breeze came for a second. That Frogg Togg wound up getting lost and/or stolen while at Disney World but I can't say that we were too disappointed about it. I actually thought, "Well, at least it's one less thing to carry."Overall I am disappointed at the amount of money I spent for a product that only works ok but molds very well.

Keeps You Cool When You Need It Most!
These cooling towels work well, especially during our Texas summers! They help dissipate perspiration from your body while helping to keep you cool. The cooling feature is just ok, but the product does a great job drawing heat from your body for several hours. I use mine while gardening and playing softball. The towel's length is long enough to tie or fit inside your shirt collar (I use mine around my neck, but I've seen others use it as a head bandana). It's also handy as a face wipe for those times when you don't have access to anything else nearby. These are easy to launder and maintain; keep in mind they arrive slightly damp, but when it is completely dry it's as stiff as a board. It's a good idea to have a place to hang it when not in use. I love that it doesn't require cold water to work - just regular tap water. You can wring out excess water easily so you won't feel like you have a heavy, dripping towel on you. In fact, it's very light-weight. I've even bought a few for friends and they all agree it's a huge help in the hot sun!

A must have for Disney
A MUST have if you are living or traveling to any hot climate. These were wonderful for our recent trip to Disney. The compact lightweight case makes them easy to travel with. The plastic case keeps other belongings dry when you are storing your wet frog towel. The towels really do help to keep you cool. It just takes a small amount of water to feel the effect of the cooling towel. When on the go simply pouring less than 1/2 a water bottle over the large size towel is enough to soak it. Just make sure to wash and dry them before any long term storage. I accidentally packed away a wet one. When I went to take it out a week later it was covered in mold and destroyed.

Didn't find it to be very cooling
It's OK. I used it a few times, but didn't think it was that effective. I live in hot, humid Houston and wanted some relief from the humidity and heat when I walked in the morning. Our relatives from New Zealand bought another brand while they were here and said it worked for them on their sightseeing trips. I will probably try it again, but feel, at least for me, it is more hassle than it is worth.

The Frogg Toggs are absolutely a life saver when you are stuck at an All Star Baseball tournament in 80 to 90 degree weather for 3 to 4 days straight. I couldn't believe how refreshing it was to have this on. It really does keep you cool. Easy to refresh by either re-wetting in a sink, or for those baseball kids we used a cooler with water and ice that they were able to dunk the towels in and cool off. My elderly mom even enjoyed this as she doesn't usually do very well with heat. She was able to keep a little cooler when wearing this.

Very cooling and refreshing
We ordered these towels in a bunch of colors and different sizes and every family member has enjoyed using them from kids in a stroller to just lounging in the yard to keep cool and even on the work site around the neck during a hot work day. Highly recommend. Just make sure you store properly otherwise they get moldy is just left out and not stored properly

A must for babies!
These are the best cooling towels! I always have 2 with me during the summer to either put around mine or baby’s neck, cover baby’s feet in the stroller to keep him cool + protect from the sun, and even use as a nursing cover. I bought them for a trip to an amusement park and have ended up using them every single day this summer. They are also easy to machine wash.

These pads are interesting to say the least and they last forever! I have been using them for a long time, I have left them in the can wet, had them mold then bleached them several times and they still kept going. I now like to wash them out by hand and just fold and place in the freezer or hang over the drying rack if I'm not going to use them, but they dry really stiff and hard. Although mine look awful after so long I still love them and may need to think about reordering some!
