received my kh202 the other day and noticed the Kh202 logo isnt on the fret board inlay between the 23 and 24 frets is this a different version ?

The one on the picture with KH-202 logo on the fretboard, is the old version of the guitar which had a Rosewood fretboard. Since 2017, these LTDs have fretboards made of Roasted Jatoba, which will not include the logo you noticed missing.

Are the frets nickle?

Not 100 Percent sûre I think Stainless Steel , Or A Nickel & Stainless Alloy . They Will last A Lifetime . Hope this helps

I noticed these models of the kh202 are made in China, while others are made in korea or japan. Should a beginner be concerned about this?

Its a great guitar i have had no issues with it it came ready to play the only concern a beginner needs to have is how to restring a floyd rose but thats what youtube is for
