RUSTINS Strypit, Clear, 2.5 L

Don't know why it's advertised as Light Oak, it's the same good Strypit I have been using for years. The only difference is the new white lid which has been changed and is now extremely diffract to open. Fast delivery .

Not as good as it used to be cos certain ingredients are now left out cos of Stupid new laws! Still works to be fair but need to put in some elbow grease. Not as easy as it used to be!!!

My local DIY shop wanted £20 for a can of "RUSTINS Strypit 500 ml" So what is not to like.

Works well does what it says on the tin

This is very gloopy and so once painted on it doesn't all drip off of the wood which is good. I put plenty on and left it for 30 or so minutes but hardly any effect. It did loosen it a bit so got some paint off but still had to work really hard at it. Also tried leaving it on over-night, the same, it didn't bubble up and scrape off easily. Best thing i found to work in the end was an electric heat gun, came off well with that. BUT i guess it might work for you depending on what sort of paint and how old it is.

Didn't remove the paint just made it worse ended up sanding it down would not buy again

Works fine but no better then cheaper brands.

I am using this to strip the iron end frames of a garden bench. Best stripper I have ever used, in fact I have just ordered another can (the frames have years of paint layers), non stinging, large amount for a reasonable price, will never buy another brand from this day forward! Well packed and very quick arrival! ****
