I liked the original Construkction of Light after a period of intense listening, despite it not having the immediate impact of the previous album (THRAK) but despite coming to like it a lot, there was always something not quite right about it. This reissue not only improves on the mastering and arrangements but does so with newly recorded drums from Pat Mastelotto and beautiful new cover art.You get the CD with the reimagined album and a DVD audio with this in stereo, 5.1 surround and the original album. If only all bands would be quite so fastidious in their reissue strategy.The ReconstruKction of this album elevates it to the status of other better regarded albums; it is now a genuine King Crimson classic.
