KIWIKiwi Shoe Shine Brush (Pack of 3)

These are good brushes. Like really good. I don’t know if there are “better”, higher end leather brushes out there but if there are, they’re a waste of money. I have several of these, each for a different leather type since I use different products on each and I want to avoid cross contamination.

After watching woodworking master Paul Sellers, I decided to try his technique. He uses these to buff the final wax finish on woodworking projects and recommend this exact brush. Amazon had a good deal on three of them for one low price, so I used one-click to get them. Glad I did!They work exactly as he says! Instead of wasting paper towels or washing lint-free cloths, I now use these little brushes to gently and quickly buff paste-wax to an even luster on furniture, instruments, jigs, tools... even our kitchen cabinets.In case you do not know, Murphy's oil soap does a splendid job cleaning wood cabinets throughout your home. Unless your cabinets are new (or have that plastic polyurethane finish)... cleaning cabinets makes them dull. Solution: paste wax!Paste wax is inexpensive, a little goes a l-o-n-g way, and is available everywhere. You don't need fancy Briwax or expensive imports... Plain ol' Johnson's paste wax works great! But there is one catch: It is the dickens trying to get wax evenly onto large surfaces and impossible to buff out of crevices. Solution: these little brushes!So far I've done all our trim, the kitchen cabinets and the wood paneling downstairs. Then I tackled several cherished heirloom furniture pieces that I refinished a few years ago. Common paste wax, applied with Mr. Sellers' brush method, made these otherwise tedious jobs FUN!Because I got THREE brushes, I dedicated one to wood waxing, one to brown shoes and another to black shoes. These really work! You get an old-school hand-rubbed shine quick & easy. They have just the right softness and spring and they have the best bristles for this job. And just in case you're wondering, NO, they do not kill the squirrels to harvest their hair. Think about it. That would be like killing the goose that lays your eggs, golden or otherwise.I just LOVE old-school methods that work better than new gadgets gimmicks and advertised scams. And when that old-school method is inexpensive yet high-quality... I swoon.Highly recommended for woodworkers or anyone who wears shoes. ;-)

I purchased this brush to "clean" my suede shoes, meaning I'm not planning on any kind of fancy polishing with them. for this purpose it works great. the brush is very soft so I'm not concerned of damaging my shoes, the curved grip is also very comfortable. I used it on brogue shoes with little to no hair coming out.

Amazon is having me review this product as though it was a shoe. These brushes are great on my leather shoes, I use them to remove dust after wear and to apply mink oil to protect them from water. Getting three of these was a good call as I can use one for oil (brown shoes), one for dust, and the last for brushing dust off clothing until I get a pair of black shoes.

Excellent shoe shine brushes! The bristles have a good stiffness to them without scratching your shoes. I polish my shoes often, so having a good quality brush is important. The 3 pack came in handy, as I use one for brown shoes, one for black and the third for neutral colored shoes. I have always liked Kiwi products and these brushes live up to their reputation.

While smaller than the brushes I used to get, these do the job just as well, take up less space and seem easier to handle. Nothing beats Kiwi for shoe polish product. Have used the since I was a kid as did my parents. Learned that they were the best while I was in the Army.

1 7/8 w x 3/4 h x 6 inch long brush, well made in Isreal using nicely finished wood with well secured horse hair plugs protruding 1 inch & spaced 1/4 inch apart. Very comfortable to handle and the brush density is excellent. Pleased with these brushes that were at a good price on Amazon.

Some might like a bigger brush than these but they are very effective for polishing shoes. I use them both for applying polish and buffing so having a brush for each of three colors is handy.
