North 15 - Men's Nylon Three-Season Jacket, Polar Fleece Lined - X-Large, Black

I ordered this coat with a bit of trepidation. There weren't a lot of reviews, and the price seemed to be low for a quality item. I have been quite happy with it so far (I've only had it for a week). Comparing it to a Port Authority jacket (which would seem to be a direct competitor) or a LL Bean warmup jacket, there are some differences. No pull tabs on the zippers, the storm flap isn't multi-stitched, and the sewing isn't quite as good (lots of thread ends sticking out that needed to be trimmed), but the cost is half the price of the Port Authority, and about a third of what LL Bean wants. Now....I had a LL Bean that lasted for close to 2 decades...we'll have to see if I get a third of that amount of time out of this one.It's been fairly cool and windy here in the mid-Atlantic area over the last week, and this coat has been just the ticket for that. Warm enough in temps in the low 30's with winds around 10 knots as long as you have a hat and gloves. The lining is soft, and the sleeves are nylon quilted over some type of insulator. Easy on and off even when I have a sweater on.

It's a great jacket. Does a great job of keeping the wind out, rain off (I imagine if you were to be out in a down pour it might soak through) and keeps you warm. The fleece lining is great! I bought if for my son, it looks good and he likes it. It's well made... The price is fantastic! I would buy it again without a second thought.

I think it's a nice warm jacket, with a good solid high collar. I ordered a 3-X and fit like a 2X, so that was disappointing. The side pockets are really small...I am not sure they would even hold a cell phone. Solid waist and wrist elastic. Color was good. In the end, after trying it on several times, I returned it.

I've had a chance to wear this jacket on numerous occasions and I like it. It keeps me warm outside. It breathes well, I don't sweat in the car. It's not heavy or bulky or over padded. I've had a chance to look it over, and I'm happy with how it's made. If I needed another jacket I would buy it again.

I wanted to replace the similar jacket i had that the zipper broke. I actually had first bought this similar jacket from LLBean for $99. i saw this jacket and the price and bought it just to check it out. I've been using this jacket exclusively this winter and saving the LLBean jacket. I bought this in a 2XL so that I can wear a hooded sweatshirt underneath. This is easier to drive with than a stiff heavy jacket. When i first got the jacket the zipper would hang up in a certain location, but after using it, it has freed up.All in all, a great jacket for the cost. Website sells it as black jacket, but it actually seems to be a dark shade of blue...no big deal.

I bought 30 of these in different sizes for employee's. I like the quality for the price, no complaints, But I will say my L & XL are about 2-3" short in the arms in length on a 6' tall guy at 200 LBS. My skinny guys, the mediums and larges are barely acceptable. I wish I knew before I ran $760 worth of silk screen and Embroidery on them. Have not tried the XXL or XXXL to see if sleeves grow,

This jacket has more insulation than another purchase previously for more money. It also has a second larger inside pocket that is more useful than the smaller one that has been typical on other jackets I have purchased over the years. I am pleased.

I like the fleece insulation along with the smooth inner lining in the sleeves. It makes it much easier to put it on /off.I wish there had been a better sizing recommendation. I think I should have order one size smaller? Stil happy with jacket though.
