I bought this cord as a way to test if the issues I was having with XBOX ONE X was having issues or if the cord I was using was having issues. When playing games in 4k I would get the dreaded "black" screen from time to time, really not that big of a deal when playing RPGs or FPSs, but when playing driving games it definitely presented as problematic. It was like having moments of driving while being black out drunk (I'm assuming). Fantastic for highlight reels, but rather terrible for win percentage.After plugging this cord in and playing multiple games, I no longer feel like I should be attending AA meetings. The price is great for a cord that can handle anything 4k related, to include full 4k/HDR settings with my 4k ultra Roku. I can't attest to the capabilities of how it handles 8k (probably won't be able for awhile, gotta get the wife to agree to another new tv, wish me luck), but if you're looking for a cord that can handle all of your 4k needs, this one should work well for you. The price is great, construction feels well done. Doesn't feel cheap at all.

I do not know much about cables. I researched this cable and while neither my Xbox or my TV at the time supported the 2.1 cable, I ordered a few as I planned to upgrade both my TV and soon my console that will utilize the increased bandwidth. Playing on an XBOX One X and a TV stated to only use HDMI 2.0, I noticed a huge improvement in smoothness, especially when video game characters would speak. The lip syncing was completely improved compared to my previous 2.0 cable, especially playing Dead or Alive 6 where the voice and the character lips looked like a horrible english dub of a live-action foreign movie. Now I have a 202 LG CX with HDMI 2.1 support and have noticed increased crispness and response time with games and general television watching. I’m excited to see how the new Xbox Series X and the next generation of PC gaming graphics cards will use this technology!

Works like a charm, and is 8K-ready...My one complaint -- and this is something I first read in a user review before purchasing -- but they zip-tie the cable together SO TIGHTLY that you need a very sharp knife to cut it off, and it's so tight, that you risk actually puncturing the cable in the process. Who's bright idea was this? Docked 1 full star for this, in the hopes that they move away from this method of bundling their cables.

I upgraded HDMI cables AT AMAZONS CS SUGGESTION in order to watch Prime Video on my smart tv which buffers and lags and is currently unwatchable. Internet speed is excellent. All other streaming channels work great. It’s just Prime Video… so now the battle begins again with Amazon Customer Service somewhere in a far off land where English is rarely spoken to try and receive service which has been paid for in advance. I bet Jeff Bezos’ new boat doesn’t have this problem…

This cable is better than the cable that came with the XBox Series X.Trying to run 4k@120hz with Dolby Atmos/DTS:X does not seem possible thought.I was experiencing huge audio clipping with the Series X cable provided by Microsoft. I could barely get any audio at all. This cable however it only clips about once every 5s for a brief second. So this cable is higher bandwidth than the cable provided with Series X.Still on the search for a cable that can do 4k@120hz with Dolby Atmos/DTS:X

My screen kept cutting out on my last cable when I switched to HDR. It would look great, but go black for a second every 15 seconds because the old cable couldn’t handle the bandwidth of 4K HDR. Installed this cable, and the problem went away! I’ve had it go black for a second on me maybe once or twice in the last month, VS every 15 seconds on my old cable. I’ll blame my TV for the two times it’s happened since I bought this cable.

Switched my 4K hdmi cable to this 8K for my 4K Philips player and 4K 60” Samsung TV. Suddenly, the audio (which has always been hooked up on my 3k watts Bose sub-woofer) is sharper like I am in a movie theater. Best of all the TV screen visuals is stunning it’s like watching on Imax theater - the Small details that you only get to notice on big cinema screens now you can see on your TV screen as well. Simply incredible.
