I used this as a motion light on my RV, and it's fantastic! My outside lights on the RV are yellow and don't throw much light at night (to prevent attracting bugs). I wanted a motion light on the RV door to light up when I was walking towards the door and to discourage unwanted visitors at night (both 2 legged and 4 legged).I hung a command strip hook above the RV door, I hung the base on the command strip hook (the base was also supported by the door molding) and I put the light in the magnetic base and pointed the sensor downward.It worked perfectly! When I walked near the door, the light would turn on and after I entered the RV, it would turn off. I remove the light and the base before I travel with the RV, and I hang it up again when I camp.I used the 2nd light as a flashlight b/c it's brighter than my phone flashlight. I highly recommend these motion sensor lights!

Easy to place where I want them; motion lighting where needed.

Bought these to put over our meat freezer in the garage because it doesn't have a light.Ended up moving lights to a closet instead. The lights themselves are great. Plenty bright, super easy to mount, and really handy due to the magnetic base and rechargeable battery.Removed one star for battery life. We do keep them on the high setting, so it's not entirely the product's own fault. Just be aware that if you plan to mount these in an area where they will be used multiple times daily, you will be recharging them every day or two.With an upgraded battery, these would easily earn a fifth star.

We have a breezeway in our carport area that is totally dark and unlit at night. I purchased these little lights to put on each side of the entryway to light up the path so that we could see when going through the breezeway. I never expected the lights to be so bright and work so well but they do! We were so impressed with them that I just purchased another set to use over our front door and back door entrance to help light it up when we come home at night and need to see the door lock. They have 2 light modes, a lower light setting and then a much brighter setting and to be honest the lower light setting is probably bright enough on it's own. All you have to do is plug them up via USB, charge the internal battery until the little red light in the center goes out and then put them where you want them and position them as they are magnetic and can be positioned in their base to direct the light right where you need it. When motion is detected they come on and then go off automatically after 30 seconds. They are amazing little lights for the size of them!! You will not be disappointed. For what it is worth we are not using the extra battery section that holds 3 AA batteries. We are just using them on the internal battery and will charge them again as needed since they are very easy to remove from the base (magnetic) and put back when charged. It is motion activated. Charge lasts a long time (at least a week). It is especially helpful for seniors.

Nice and bright, easy install, made well and easy to mount. Where they fall short is the motion detection seems to work day and night! Would be 5 stars if motion detection worked as it should when it’s dark. Problem being the battery doesn’t last at all due to coming on day and night!

I’ve waited 4 years to write this review. I have these lights installed in closets and inside of cabinets. I only recently discovered you can use batteries to lengthen the time between charges. But they last a long time. With about 3-5 uses a day they last (on low) about 4-5 months between charges. That’s ideal and amazing and they’re often forgotten about until they need to be recharged. It takes just a few hours to fully charge - maybe less but I check on them after 3-4 hours. They have a status light that changes from red to green to indicate state of charge.

Works great, use them to light our steps where there are no outlets. I first installed both on the landing in the middle but the motion didn’t pick up that far away in the dark. So now one is at the top and one in the middle, as I want to see going down mostly so I fall down the steps. They are so easy to adjust, my toddler thinks it’s a toy for her and steals them from the their spots, but this makes it very easy if u need a flashlight on the go fast and I left my phone on another floor. A lil too bright but it works I keep in on the low setting.
