Big Book of Land Rover (Big Books) Hardcover – January 1, 2014

This book is not at all "big" as the title would allude, it is actually a fairly small book that you can carry in one hand. However, the info and pictures are substantial enough to make it a worthy addition to your collection. Lots of specific numbers, dates and engine sizes in here - so if you're not a facts and figures geek then this book might not be for you. Definitely a book for grown-ups, not for the kids.

This book gives an overview of the famed Land Rover vehicles. It describes the basic models from the company, including the modern offerings. The prose is clear and the photography excellent.I was hoping for more in-depth analysis of early vehicles, forerunners to our modern SUVs, and more examination of their historical contributions to modern exploration, warfare, and adventure, hence my giving only 4 stars.

Boring and underwhelming in every way. Somewhat informative but it just left me wanting so much more. Look elsewhere for your Land Rover history.

"Big book of Land Rover"?? I don't think so. Its quite small. Haven't read it yet as its a present for my boyfriend for Christmas. I'm sure he'll love it though as he's landy obsessed!

Fantastic book, very detailed in history. The only thing I regret, is that there is not too much info about the early years of the Range Rover, but besides that, 9 out of 10.

If you love Land Rover Series 1, 2, 3 or Defender, you will find this book so interesting.

Name is a misnomer, but interesting nevertheless.

Love the Pictures and story as well. Gift for my son, he loves his Land Rover!
