Patience wins the day
I don’t usually write long reviews but I am afraid this is going to be a lengthy one. I am giving this bike a 5 even though, like everything, it could use some improvements. I feel it is important to tell my story for future buyers. I will start off with I love this bike and the workouts it offers. Review could stop there except for a need for transparency; it took two months, a lot of frustration, and a lot of patience to get to this point.I ordered the bike from Amazon. The first console was making a very loud noise and there was no resistance. They sent me a new console but it quit working after one use and there still was no resistance. I received a third console and hoped that this was the answer but it quit and still no resistance. The company finally sent me a brand new bike and I have had little to no problems and love working out on it.As far as the reviews that complain of the videos freezing, I had that happen once when I first got it but over the last three months it has been fine. The resistance is working great now and if a particular workout isn’t hard enough or is too hard you can manually adjust the resistance. I love that I don’t have to think about changing anything, it all happens automatically unless you want to override. You get a free year membership to the iFit programs and if you decide not to go with the membership after a year there are built in programs and you can create your own. Some reviews complain about customer service. I had only two issues with customer service. First, the wait time on the phone was long but I just put it on speaker and worked while I waited. Second, the hours customer service can be reached are typically when the average person is working so you can’t call them when you are actually having the problem if you workout early in the morning or after work. That said, when I did get a representative (all three times) they were excellent. Each one was very friendly and took time to understand the problem. They told me what to do when I got home, what pictures or videos to take, and gave me an email address to send them.It does not have an incline/decline but I decided that was not worth the extra $1,000.00. You can adjust the resistance if you need to but the workouts appear to be compensating for that automatically. It is easy to put together. They say use two people but I did it by myself. It would have been a little easier in certain steps but it is possible for one. Most of the negative reviews I have seen are from buyers on amazon. All the professional reviews were great which is why I was so determined to make it work. It gives the benefits plus extras that don’t come with the Peloton for a fraction of the price. I have never workout on the Peloton so I am not here to review it but it is quite a bit more expensive and you have to pay for the membership, without that the bike is worthless.I recommend this bike but based on my experience along with other reviewers I would buy it from the company. It is now a little more expensive (both the company and amazon had it for $999. I have seen a price drop on amazon). I waited several months before writing this to make sure everything continued working and it has been great.

WiFi only works occasionally
I really wanted to like this bike. I am now past the return window. It has several problems, but the thing that really makes it unusable is that the networking capabilities are terrible. The vendor chose to use the 2.4Ghz spectrum to save a few bucks. Which was a really bad decision. Any streaming device one can purchase in the past couple of years has made the switch to 5Ghz.Workouts are frequently interrupted with a stream buffering message. How about having some internal storage on the device and allowing me to pre-download workouts?I added another WiFi router to my mesh system thinking the problem may in fact be due partially to my bandwidth limitations. The bandwidth has improved. I now have a full WiFi meter icon during setup but still have the same networking issues. (The router provided bandwidth wasn't terrible previously. I have a Firestick and frequently use my cell phone without ever having issues with those devices)There are additional issues with the platform and much of the content, but I don't have the patience nor the desire to continue the review.

Classes freeze up and you have to can’t go back to where you left off.
This bike is very heavy duty. It is great quality structurally. Although a piece of mine did come broke. Luckily it doesn’t effect the function and is still usable. The part I am disappointed with is how the computer part functions. Two out of the three times I’ve used this my class completely froze up. I tried restarting one of the classes three times and then gave up. Also when it freezes it doesn’t give you an option to go back to where you left off you have to completely start over. The only reason I got this was for the classes. But if I can’t use them without this happening then I might as well return the bike. It’s not my internet because I’ve never had an issue with the WiFi before. It’s super annoying. I want to love this bike I really do but that completely ruins it for me.

Electronic maneuverability
I have started to sweat the pounds off. It is a pretty bike but I've noticed that some proper welding touches were missed. I love it tough. Thank you. Happy Holidays!!!

Enjoying the Ride
I am really enjoying the bike, especially using the IFit program. I have only done around a dozen short 5-6 mile rides at this point since I'm using it as a cross training tool. The bike is completely silent and I do love this as it allows me to ride any time of the day or night without worrying about disturbing anyone sleeping in the house. The seat is comfortable enough now but it took a while to get used to it. I am only 5' tall and had to put the seat all the way forward while putting the handle bars all the way up to make the ride a bit less awkward This actually has me in a slightly more upright position and I may change out the seat as a result. THis bike does NOT have the incline/decline feature but I felt that would have been redundant (and more expensive) since the resistance changes on the uphills to give you the same effect in essence. All in all it's a great entry model for an indoor cycle and the IFit maps make it a lot of fun. WIth the maps feature, the bike resistance automatically gets more difficult when you're on an incline making it very realistic.NOTE: the studio classes don't really work as expected for some reason. When the instructor says .."I'm taking up your incline" the resistance on my bike actually goes down and the opposite is true when they take their bike 'down a hill' ... my resistance gets harder. It's still a great workout either way, just weirdly disconcerting.

I LOVE my bike!!!
I absolutely LOVE my pro-form bike. Before purchasing, I compared Pro-form to Nordic track and Peleton. Hands down Pro-form was the most economical.
