🔥 Cool Down, Power Up! 🔥
The Bgearsb-Blaster 80mm fan is engineered for high performance with a remarkable 3500 RPM speed and airflow of up to 62 CFM. Its dual ball bearing design ensures longevity, making it an ideal choice for cooling PC cases, power supplies, and CPU heat sinks. The fan comes with a 3-pin connector and includes a Molex adapter for easy installation.

12 volt and high speed make this a noise problem!
I had 2 case fans in my computer and because of age, they were beginning to make noise when first start-up so I decided to replace both front and rear fans. Both fans are connected to motherboard but front fan is on a 4 pin connector that feeds 5 volts and the rear fan had to be connected to a 3 pin system fan plug which is a straight 12 volt supply. The front fan runs and can hardly be heard but when I connect the rear fan to the 3 pin connector it makes so much noise that it's hard to work with the computer! I am running with front fan only until I can find a way to slow the other fan down so the noise level is lower otherwise the fans are fine, just my personal affliction to the noise that is the problem!

User's report: They cool well but 3 (out of 4) have failed within 18 months.
This is more a report than a review. I bought four Bgears b-Blaster 80mm fans in August 2015 and installed four in identical equipment: that is, three external cases that hold four SATA drives each. Two 80mm fans fit vertically in the front of each case to cool the four drives. In one case, I used a Bgears and a Noctua R8 fan (bought around the same time). In another case I used two Bgears. In the third, I used a single Bgears, while the two bottom drives were cooled individually by other methods. All the drives run continuously but are accessed intermittently (home office).Three months ago, the two Bgears in the single case died. They no longer spin. Just today (January 2017), the Bgears sharing the case with the Noctua died. The Noctua still works perfectly. The fourth Bgears, installed by itself, continues to function.Of course, the Bgears fans run at 3500 RPM, while the Noctuas spin at 1800 RPM. And the Bgears doesn't claim to last as long as the Noctua, with its 6-year warranty. Also, until they failed, the Bgears did a nice job of keeping my WD-Black 2Tb drives cool. (All the hard drives in these cases are WD-Black 2Tb.) So I can't really regret my decision to buy the Bgears nor criticize the Bgears for not being Noctuas - although I confess a little disappointment with the failure rate over the course of 18 months. In any case, I thought it might be useful to post a report of one person's experience with the durability of these high-performance drives - remembering, again, that I've been running them 24/7.

Loud, but effective. 3-pin (Molex pins aren't used when attaching to motherboard)
This thing is loud. As in, it runs really fast and at high speeds constantly. Which also means that it does it's job and keeps your computer cool. Sadly, it doesn't come with a heatsink or with speed control, meaning if you want to use it for your cpu or gpu or if you want to manually control airflow at different times, or just reduce speed to make it quieter, then you'll have to use your old heatsink or buy a heatsink seperately and you'll have to buy a separate program/adapter to manually adjust the voltage it receives to control the speeds. But for a case fan to cool the overall computer setup? It's great! Again, though. It's loud because it's constantly spinning at a base speed of 3600-3800 RPM even when idle. As should be expected.

Very loud, but move quite a bit of air for an 80mm
This fan does it job at price. At max speed, it makes a slight whine noise, however, that is to be expected when a small fan like this spins at 3000+ RPM. It moves quite a bit of air. I am using it as a side intake fan. You can definitely feel this thing move air. Moreover, you can hear this thing move air with its whining noise. I had to dock off a star for that.Case in point, if you do not care about noise levels, and you would like to move massive amounts of air with an 80mm, this would be your ideal fan.

Great replacement fans for a treadmill
Used 2 of these to replace the fans that were in our SOLE treadmill. They move more air than any other 12v 80mm fan I could find when limited to less than 1 amp. I'd imagine that they could be a little loud for a computer tower but for my use, I definitely can't hear them over the treadmill running. Aside from that, there isn't a whole lot more to say about them, as they are typical of most 80mm size fans. Got the job done, and I couldn't be happier.

excellent cooling with some windy sound. good!
Works very nicely. I needed the power adapter cable that came with it. Good airflow. A bit windy sounding though. Not terrible noise but noticable. I put one int he back of the case blowing out and one in the front of the case blowing in. I monitored the cpu temperatures for more than a week. Its excellent cooling even with heavy use. I recommend these.

Fairly Good but...
This is a great little fan, my only disappointment is that it supposedly has speed control but it does not.4/2015 Update: Well it last about a year. This one is grinding away now and has been for a couple months so I will look for a real speed variable fan this time.

Great fan, not a variable seed fan
Way more quite than the 70cfm fans that were in my server by a substantial amount. Not really a variable speed fan I purchased 4 that site next to each other; they run at full speed at all times. My server is cool and the noise is more manageable.

The perfect fan for 2U server chassis
Four of these fans replaced four big honking Yen Sun server fans in a 2U server.I have no idea how these fans move so much air at such a low RPM and noise level. They are rated at 62 CFM and the rating is spot on. Compared with the fans they replace they are quieter by 14 dBA (which is huge given the logarithmic scale) and run at a considerably lower RPM, yet move almost the same amount of air (only 10% less). No matter how hard I tried I could not find any fan with a better airflow/noise ratio and high enough airflow to sustain server operations. In all this is the perfect fan for 2U server chassis. The fans have been working well for almost a year. It should be mentioned however that the quality control could be better. One of the four fans I purchased came with a DOA tach signal. The faulty fan has been promptly replaced though (with cross-shipping at no extra charge!). This also seems to be a freak occurrence: I have recently purchased another batch of six (from elsewhere, see below) and they were all in good working order.Update December 2017: I was looking at these fans again for another server chassis (requiring six fans this time). The fans continue to be great, but the price structure not so much: I purchased them at a good price (some $10 apiece if memory serves). Next time I looked (a month later or so) their price jumped to an unreasonable $40 apiece. As I write this they are down to an excellent $5, but sold as an add-on and with a limit of 1; that's good for ordering a replacement, but with such a limit I cannot say that they are suitable for server chassis anymore; hence the one star off. Fortunately other preeminent electronics site also has them at around $5 (and available in quantity).

a little loud
a little pricy for its quality and durability! It does run on 3800 RPM but loud! Its good for server rooms, not for personal comps because the noise level is not bearable!

Incredible airflow for such a small fan. Surprisingly quiet ...
Incredible airflow for such a small fan. Surprisingly quiet too. For the price this fan is unmatched. 10/10 would buy again.
