Learning Resources Twist Flexible Digital Microscope

Purchased this for my son's school science project. It worked well for what he needed it for and was easy to use.

I do not recommend this product if you have a newer operating system. I had it working on a netbook with an XP operating system but only for about a week. At some point it stopped working. I tried to contact the company and have had no response. The only thing that will work is the light. and only if it is plugged into the computer. I have tried to connect it to other laptops and my desktop all with the same result. There are other products on Amazon that work much better. Don't waste your money on this one.

Bought to view nature and other items close up. Also work on small items that required magnification. I ended up returning this camera because I was unable to update the software, unable to use the mirror feature which is part of the software program. I did get good close up images but they were unstable. By unstable I mean the image kept moving on my screen as if the camera was shaking or moving, it wasn't. I did have high hope for this camera but was surprised by my experience. My return to Amazon was super easy and my refund timely.

Difficult to focus and maintain distance from object at the same time. But what did I expect for twenty dollars?

For the price... fun for the kids.

V. Hard software, can not use it,

This is my 1st usb microscope and I'm proud to say it'll prob be my last, since it works so good ! I wanted an inexpensive microscope that had a good Working Distance, so I could use it to solder / repair pcb and small circuitry. This item has the needed Working Distance required to fit a soldering iron in between the scope and the repair item. I was very happy to discover that this scope offers PLENTY of room for my needs !! The scope has an actual 1.3mp camera, which doesn't sound like much, but it's way better than comparable scopes that only offer .3mp. I can also photograph loose gems w/ great clarity, which is practically impossible to do w/ a normal camera. The base is weighted and the adjustable arm is high-quality and won't move around on you. This really is an EXCELLENT A++ scope for the price !!
