ZefalDoodad Bicycle Pump Strap

Good strap. Holds my old-school frame-fit pump on my road bike. Accommodates oversized carbon frame. But, the package was supposed to have 2. I only received 1.

I'm a nut for Velcro. Love my Velcro straps to keep all things organized and secure and this was designed to be just the right length to secure a frame-mounted bicycle pump. Honestly, though, you can find generic black Velcro straps at Joann's or a sporting goods store that will do just as well for a much lower cost. The only difference is that the generic straps have a slot cut into the end to feed the strap through to secure the strap to the object. This strap has a plastic piece that does the same thing, but looks neater. Now for the negative: while the cheap strap fastens securely around one of the objects and won't fall off, this Zefal strap, when unsecured, can fall through the plastic slot and could be fairly easily be lost. This strap is 10.5 inches long, including plastic buckle.Now here is the REAL reason to buy this strap... Your strap matches your pump, which looks cool on your bike. Strap seemed sturdy.However, I expected two straps but I only got one strap.Image mislead me.

Magnifique! Zèfal Doodad, the glorious six dollar Velcro strap. The pièce de résistance is the nylon/plastic strap adjuster. This bit of technologique extraordinaire allows the user to easily cinch the strap to support and secure your stuff. Ooo La La, Made in France!All joking aside, it is a simple implement that is somewhat overpriced and leaves room for improvement. The inside portion that contacts the frame could have been rubberized to provide better grip and avoid abrasion. The logo is printed on the cinch strap in the place it is most likely to wear off in an uneven way. A smaller embroidered logo or reflective logo patch would be a better product branding solution.The bottom line is that the strap looks good, works fine, and matches my new Zèfal HPX #3.(See "Customer Images" for Customer Action Shots ®)P.S.There is also an improved version of this product: Zèfal Doodad Plus Bicycle Pump Strap.

The strap is fine but it’s advertised as sold in pairs and I only received one strap. One strap doesn’t hold the pump securely.

I had an older model Zefal HPx frame pump that I wanted to use with my Trek 720 Multitrack. Two of these straps did the trick to hold the frame pump security below the top tube of the bike. I have this product three stars as it was ok and did the job. I have other padded straps that I use on other bikes that keep the rattling from the pump to a minimum.

Great product but …It ask as « sold in pair », purchased two. I expected to get two pair… I get one …

This velcro strap does what it's designed to do. Holds my small bike pump securely to my bike's frame.

I should have ordered two as one does not hold the pump on alone

So far no complaints here.
