Love JBL
I had bought the Loft 50 (Towers) for my HDTV and love them. But after reading reviews and watching Youtube videos decided to see what all the talk about the "Center channel", was all about. Turns out that almost all dialog is on the center channel. By giving the Center it's own speaker, you get much clearer dialog. Bingo, I guess the experts have something there. JBL has always been known for it's mid's and highs. Guess what, it also has plenty of Bass! I was so impressed I also bought the Loft 40's for surround.The Loft 20 is a superb center channel speaker. Highly recommended.I understand the Loft Series is being phased out ...get it while you can.

Great Speaker
I thought i was happy with the system i had. Decided to get a better center channel mostly to replace the cheap looking one i had. I figured it would be a nice little improvement in sound quality. Boy was i wrong. My old center channel sucked this one sounds many times better. I went from "yeah i hear the voices coming from the center" to "oh my god this guy is talking right in my face". Im not an audiophile and im not going to make any quantitative claims. But i will tell you if you have a home theater in a box and want it to sound better (and for only $50) BUY THIS SPEAKER!

Clarity!
For the price you can not beat them has amazing highs, mids. Lows are sub par but you can't expect much as it is a loud speaker also why you complete the setup with a sub. The clarity of these speakers are incredible. I have a Yamaha HTR-5840 which is 100w for 6 channels. Even with the sub not plugged in there is still quite a bit of rumble. I have this paired with JBL loft 40. But it is imperative you set your amp distance with speakers and the levels of each speaker to get the best quality sound.

Great center speaker. Bought to go with matching floor-standing speakers
Bought this to accompany my Loft front floor-standing speakers.The build looks great. I really like the design of the wood box and the mesh on front. It looks very sleek.It also sounds great. I use it with my Onkyo receiver.

Great for the money
Awesome center channel paired with Loft 50 left and right is sounds great although i noticed it is less sensitive than the Loft 50's so i have to turn it up 5db to match with the sides. Voices are fairly clear and it has an overall good sound to it, especially for the money.

Great buy, better performance
Good performer. An affordable center channel solution. Typical JBL quality (excellent) , fits in well with other JBL speakers in my home theater setup.

JBL Center Speaker
I got this to use with my bedroom TV, I'm using it with a pair of Boston CR-57's and a Yamaha RX-V377 receiver.The sound is very good for the price.
