Oh the planets we’ll know
Ok that was a corny title. We enjoy this book and its colorful illustrations. Both my three and –almost five- year olds really like it. It can be a good start to a conversation about space and planets. It is fun to read out loud and then go get other library books on the topic. In the tradition of other Dr. Seuss books it rhymes. The book is updated to have a sad reminder that Pluto is no longer in the line up and we end our naming game with Neptune. And to make it even better it is a level 2 reader and slowly but surely after several readings my son is starting to feel comfortable reading a few pages when he is in the mood. I expect that after many readings the kids will learn to name the planets without noticing. What a great addition to our kid library!

Kindle version is disappointing
I like the book in the print version, but I was trying to encourage first graders to read Early Readers. The screens (see my pictures) were not visually engaging. They could read the words, but I know I didn't really tempt them to race to the Early Reader shelf with what they saw here!

Great book
Bought for my 6 year old who was having a hard time reading. I have found these particular level 2 reader books (Step Into Reading) much easier for him to read (and sound out the words). Added bonus was that we learned a few things about each of the planets. Beautiful pictures. Fun read! How can you go wrong with a Cat in The Hat Knows A Lot About That book?!

Cme in bent!
I like to give reader books to my grandchildren. They are fun while learning to read. This book came in bent because it was shipped with another item and not properly packaged. I will keep this book at my house instead of gifting it.

Very Entertaining Read: Lacking Dwarf Planet from 90s child
My daughter loves this book but as a child of the 90's I struggled not having Pluto listed! Even without the dwarf planet listed this is a fantastic and entertaining read.

it's somewhat similar, in places even the same with the Planet book in the Cat in the Hat learning library. It was a little bit disappointing.

Fun reading
It’s a brilliant book. My 5 year old loves it and he learnt plenty of things about our Solar System.
