Water fills lens from rain

they say they are waterproof, non-submersible.. that may be true, but rain enters from the back of the plastic case and enters into the lens cover area.. doesn't seem to effect them, but still.. typical mounting has them pointed slightly down onto my boat deck. hard to believe a light that is "billed" as marine grade would fill with water from rain fall... I worry how long they will last given this.
