Quality seeds
These had a very good germination rate for me. Keep in mind that much like moss roses these take a pretty long time to leave the seedling stage and during that time will be very delicate. I recommend watering with a mister or spray bottle while small so as not to topple them accidentally.

Excellent plants with good germination
I bought these last year and enjoyed them all summer. I planted them in partial shade in a bed with fresh mulch. I was kind of skeptical whether they'd grow because my wild purslane (which only grows about 1-2 inches tall at best) seems to only grow in my driveway and I can never get it to grow happily in a bed with good soil. But these seeds germinated direct-sown in abundance and produced a giant wall of plants up to over a foot tall. Even with relatively heavy deer browsing, they still held up and produced more leaves and eventually seeds. Next year I'm going to protect them from the deer because I really want them all to myself. The leaves are delicious eating straight picked from the plant. Even my kids would eat them. They're crispy, succulent, and slightly citrusy. Needless to say, they're also awesome in a salad.

Wonderful experience. Nice seeds.
Outsidepride Purslane - 5000 SeedsThis is the best five bucks I ever spent!! I have been looking for purslane to purchase but could not find any in the area where I live. So when a community garden was started at my work place, I rented a small garden patch and planted this as an experiment. I have no gardening experience or green thumb. I purchased some lettuce and cucumber seeds also from the local health food store and planted near this. The purslane just took off while my lettuce and cucumbers are growing much slower. It yielded first edible growth after about 5-6 weeks. After I cut it I did not know what it would do. Was that the end of my summer crop? After a few rainy days, and then a dry few, about a week later I went back to water the patch and to my amazement there was enough purslane for another meal! It just keeps giving. Thank you for such honest and easy to grow seeds. I will definitely come back to Outsidepride and purchase more now that I have a bit of experience. Their service is fast, too. Excellent experience.

Rapid growth in full sun. These are great plants.
These need at least 5 to 6 hours of full sun or they will not grow well, but as long as they get enough direct full sun (not shade), they will grow like mad and produce lots of stems and leaves. So far, I am very pleased with their rapid growth. We had some terrible storms and they got flattened down by the wind and rains and I was sure they were going to die off, but they sprang back and regrew new stems. They do need frequent watering and some light fertilizing from time to time to look their best. Don't over-fertilize them. Just give them a tiny amount of fertilizer. In the picture I attached, this cultivated upright growing version of purslane sold here is on the left. The wild version of purslane with a flat growing sprawling habit is pictured on the right side of the photo.

Important! Toxic for dogs!
I just think it should be noted that this plant is extremely toxic to dogs! I wanted it for groundcover, as it looks like it would be great, but can't plant as I have dogs.

Tasty and grows well
Planted the seeds that I purchased last year. They stil grew really well in short amount of time. They taste well (we mix with homemade yogurt). They regrow, and I harvested several times already in the last 2 weeks.
