Nice reel. Fit and finish are excellent, very smooth operating.
I am impressed with this reel for the price point. It replaced a seldom used all plastic reel on an Ugly Stik Dockrunner. I used this mainly for bait: running a small sabiki rig, so time will tell how it holds up to saltwater. I thoroughly rinse and dry all my gear immediately after use. If the materials are as well made as they seem to be it hopefully wont be an issue. If it is, there was minimal investment here. The internals seem smooth, and this wont be getting a lot of stress on them. The overall value if certainly there on this reel, and I am impressed with Kastking so far.

Great spinning reel
Bought to take on a week long fishing trip and didn’t have any issues the entire time. Casts great and feels smooth reeling in. Overall, I was very impressed for the price

Solid, smooth, inexpensive.
Excellent economically priced reel. Smooth, easy to adjust and feels as nice as some more expensive reels. Impressed with what you get for the money. Drag adjusts smoothly, solid feel. This is my second one, I also have a Royal Legend and it’s been great too.

Seems awesome but I can’t give a 5 star because I haven’t caught a fish on either of the 2 I bought so I think they have the skunk on em.

Kastking Brutus Fishing Reel
Today I just received the Kastking Brutus 5000 fishing reel and I am very impressed with the size and quality. I wasn't going to buy another reel but this reel was on sale for less than the original price on Amazon Spring Sale. I can use it on my extra rod for fishing for larger size fish, hopefully flounder, tautog and stripe bass.
