I love love love love love these hooks!!!! I am so glad I decided to upgrade my old set. The comfort grip is so much easier on my hands, I no longer have the discomfort in my hand and wrist so I can crochet for longer amounts of time.I also love that the size is engraved into the end of the hook so I don't have to worry about the size fading since I use my hooks daily.The packing is helpful to keep Organized for me, just click the hook in and done. I would absolutely recommend the Pink Peony hooks to anyone from begginer to expert. They are sturdy, comfortable and I am sure will last me for years/decades to come. I even recommend this set over the Joanns brand Boyle, those did nothing for comfort.My only one con: on of my most used, size H had a bit of a lip between the aluminum and the grip, the yarn would constantly snag. It was a quick fix though, I took my finger nail file to smooth the little lip between the hook and grip and voila no more problem.

These hooks arrived fairly quickly. They are very short compared to typical crochet hooks. I took a few pictures next to a Boye hook of the same size, with an ergonomically correct handle. The Peony hook is a full half inch shorter than the Boys hook. Also the top piece by the hook is shorter as well,so less room for your stitches. The Peony hook rests against my palm instead of the side of my hand, making it feel insecure in my hand. My hands are 6 and a quarter inches from my longest finger to the base of my wrist. If you have similar size hands or larger these hooks probably won't work for you. I tried the H hook out on worsted weight yarn and it was just O.k. However if you have a child learning to crochet, these hooks would be great for that.

Great hooks at an unbelievably low price. Did not come with stitch markers as advertised, but that didn't bother me.The handles are rubber with great grip. The hook is made of aluminum and glides well. No seams at all. They're not as smooth as my yellow clover hooks, but the handles are way better. This is not a deal breaker for me, as I got use to the difference quickly.I highly recommend trying these hooks before spending a ton on other hooks.

These are European sizes which I did not notice before I bought them. I have one ergonomic hook that I bought at the local craft store (a name brand) and I like it a lot better. These are a good value especially if specific size for a gauge is not important for your project.

So a couple months ago I bought a set that looked just like this for a few bucks more as a gift. They were very nice. When I was looking to buy a size 7 hook I found these thinking they were the same at half the price. Yeah, no. For one thing the metal hook is flimsy and bends from mild use. For two several hooks had nicks that would for sure snag yarn. For three their sizes are crazy. The letters do not match the sizes at all. I will probably not be using these much at all.

This kit of hooks is a must for people who do crochet for long periods of time, the grip is very well attached to the metal, now twist, the handle is very soft and the hooks that I received have minor to non debris. A total success with cotton yarn, I haven't try too much acrylic or wool. And the price is awesome!

Super soft cushions have made it easier for me to continue crocheting even with an early onset of arthritis.I really thought I was going to have to stop... but these have made it much easier for me to continue.The stitch holders were a nice bonus and are easy to open and close as well.

Changing my previous review. I had purchased 2 different sets of hooks and mistakenly put the less than stellar review on the wrong product! This set with Bonus stitch markers is fine.
