There's a Dragon in Your Book (Who's In Your Book?)

Author Tom Fletcher has written a text that will delight young children and call for their participation in the story. “Oh, Look! There’s an egg in your book! It looks ready to hatch. Whatever you do, don’t turn the page….” The story is filled with instructions like this and then some catastrophe happens when the reader turns the page.Greg Abbott’s illustrations also call for interaction from the students – showing just what happened when the page is turned against the instructions of the author.There’s a Dragon in Your Book is a Children’s Choice Award finalist. .I purchase the book to add to our library collection so that my students can participate in the voting process. I’m glad I did – it is a fun book. I think it will make a great addition to our picture book collection.Possible area of concern – some audiences might have a problem with dragons. If that is your library, please read the book first before purchasing it.

My 2-year old granddaughter loves this book. It takes reading to another level from sedentary to action oriented. As a retired teacher, I'm fully aware of the importance of making reading engaging to children in order for them to become life-long readers, which is what this book accomplishes.

I read this book at work with my kids and loved it so much that I wanted my own copy. This book interacts with my kids; asking them to participate in little activity such as giving the dragon high five and so on.

I've been reading this to my baby since before she turned one. Even when she was too young it was a fun read. As she got a little older she would do some of the actions like pressing on pages but still doesn't do everything at the age of one. Love how cute the dragon is and feel like she'll grow with the book. I think it's still a cute gift from newborn on.

What’s better than a baby dinosaur that is learning things just like kids do. 💗 My girls loved this book from the very start. It’s interactive with each page and they love that the dinosaur’s 🦕 illustration is so very cute, and that it makes mistakes just like they do. If your kids love dinosaurs, boys or girls, then they will love this book too. Tom Fletcher’s books with similar ideas like “There’s an Elf on Your Book” or “There’s a Dinosaur in Your Book” or when the “Dinosaur that Pooped...” books are awesome and I recommend buying them all along with this one!

I love this book! I got the board book just because I like the sturdiness of a board book. But I love the interactions within it. It’s been a big hit with my 2 year old.

My Grandsons love all the books in this series. Highly recommend!

This book is so much fun, interacting with each page. The three children I childmind all did the actions and loved it, so much laughter. (18 months to 3 years) The reader can show them what to do if they are quite young and the children will soon learn from that. So any age from birth to me 😆 ... I've bought three others now, you need to write a crocodile one next!!

My kid is in love with the series, this one is probably the best after the first one.

I just stumbled upon this book coz I was searching for a book with dragons coz my child is obsessed with them.Took a chance on it and it has the sweetest story that engaging the child. It gives different tasks to the child and it is super fun.I recommend this to whoever has a doubt about the book. Go for it!
