Q: Can I use these for wet cat food or will they cause a mess?

They hold up pretty well. I have used them for wet cat food and no problem. My biggest issue with these is they stick together like crazy. I get tired fighting to pull them apart to get just one plate.

These plates are BPI certified as compostable and are compostable in commercial composting facilities They are also recyclable and may be recycled if you have access to a recycler that accepts paper products containing food residue. Please check within your municipality as such facilities may not be available in your area. Thank you.

They are not made with a measured amount of recycled material however these plates are BPI certified as compostable and is compostable in commercial composting facilities and also recyclable and may be recycled if you have access to a recycler that accepts paper products containing food residue .
