The Dagger's roomy interior is not solely a function of the square footage of its footprint. NEMO applied digital modeling and cutting-edge technology to deliver a tent with as much usable space as possible. Variable diameter poles made it possible to steepen the walls of the Dagger, adding volume in all directions. So go ahead and stretch out.More volume doesn't mean more weight. Ultralight fabrics and a Featherlite NSL frame made from strong, flexible aluminum cuts down on heft. The lightweight Dagger is a breeze to carry. The dual-stage Divvy Sack fits the tent and poles, or can adjust smaller to further compress the tent and split the load.2-Person DaggerMinimum Weight: 3 lb 5 oz / 1.5 kgPacked Weight: 3 lb 12 oz / 1.7 kgPacked Size: 18.9 x 5.5 in dia / 48 x 14 cm diaPeak Height: 42.2 in / 107 cmFloor Area: 31.1 sq ft / 2.9 sq m3-Person DaggerMinimum Weight: 3 lb 12 oz / 1.7 kgPacked Weight: 4 lb 4 oz / 1.93 kgPacked Size: 18.9 x 5.9 in dia / 48 x 15 cm diaPeak Height: 42.2 in / 107 cmFloor Area: 43.6 sq ft / 4.1 sq m

Backpackers Dream!
I have only used this tent once. BUT I have done a ton of camping and know a great tent when I see it. And while there was no rain on my outing there was about 7" of snow as well as some wind. The dagger kept me warm and dry. And not an ounce of condensation. This tent guys out awesome, making for excellent circulation. The door vents work great. Additionally the room inside is exceptional. Another added bonus is the packed size. It packs down small and is very light. This tent is a backpackers dream. I am very excited to try it in some downpours. The fact that I look forward to that speaks to my high confidence in this tent.Update:I am several trips on with this tent now and I am more impressed than before. Phenomenal tent!

Survives Nature
Camped first night on beach in howling wind. The wind drove the sand through the mesh and I slept in a rain of sand. So did my three friends in three different tents. Next morning my tent was buried in a sand drift weighing around 65 pounds. Tent was fine. Next night, in normal conditions, all was good. A tough sturdy tent. For beach camping, I recommend a cheap tent with no fly sheets and zippable windows. That's nothing against the Nemo though. It survived brutal conditions intact. Easy to pitch, and amazing enough, fits into its bag with space to spare after use. And yes, space inside the 3P tent more than enough for two adults. For car camping, get a Coleman. If you travel a lot by air, get the Nemo.

I definitely recommend using the footprint - the base does seem a ...
Worked well on the three backpacking trips so far. It's 'big' for one person, which I know it would suggest from the dimensions, but it feels really roomy inside, which I think is due to the brace in the middle that creates the door ways. Rainfly worked well through an overnight downpour. I definitely recommend using the footprint - the base does seem a little thin. The inner roof pockets are very helpful for placing your headlamp.Word of warning if you are on a platform - the end curved pieces are under some tension, so lifting one end from the jakesfoot, will shoot the tent across / off the platform. ( ok, novice platform error ) . Keep a foot on the footprint and release the tension quickly !

Good with a few design flaws.
Only used it once so far, but quality and features seem good. I'm moving on from Big Agnes ultralight tents, which have virtually no vestibule. This is a 2-person tent, but at only 3.5 pounds, I use it as a 1-man tent, and vestibules are important to keep backpack and boots out of the weather. For that, this tent really delivers. That said, the only feature I'm not sure of is the way the rainfly connects to the corners of the tent. They use plastic clips (not like the clips on most tents, but friction clips that could possibly break with use. The jury is still out on that feature.Tent does not come with enough stakes and tie cords for all the tie-downs on the rainfly, so had to add them. Otherwise, looks like a solid ultralight tent.

Ultra light
Light weight & easy to set up. Great for the back country. But for 2 person trips I would prefer the 3 person tent unless intimacy is desired.

this tent is perfect for 2 people
this tent is perfect for 2 people. only weighs 3.5lbs and is the easiest tent I've ever set up. Does great in high winds.

Poorly constructed tent, and CampSaver is an awful retailer.
I read reviews of this tent that extolled it's virtues - it's light, roomy, and packs up easily. But it didn't mention one of the most important features of a tent: keeping you dry. Even in a dry environment, this product ventilates so poorly, that even after one night with one person in this tent in a temperate climate it is so covered in condensation in the morning that water had dripped down into my tent. I thought the first time that I used it that it was perhaps just the location of my tent - despite having been nearby other tents who had no dew on them in the morning. However I tried the tent again a few months later with the exact same effect. When I tried to return it to campsaver they were totally inflexible with their 30 day return policy, even though an item like a backpacking tent isn't something that is easy to test out in such a short window of time. I am extremely dissatisfied and wouldnt recommend either this tent or this retailer to anyone, ever.

Great room, not much weight overall
Excellent roominess without that much more weight than a 2P... The tent should come with two extra stakes for the unique fly vestibule/door design.
