Paper Girls Volume 6

If you’re about to start or have started this series, I’m thrilled for you. This was a great journey. I read all six books in one shot, hooked from the first issue and plowed through to the last. There are so many twists and turns along the way, so many amazing moments. Brian K. Vaughn and crew have created characters that are easy to fall in love with, and you’ll want to be with them every step of their crazy journey. The artwork is beautiful throughout, really fitting in with the story. These books rightfully won as many awards as they did. Paper Gurls is of the highest quality in story telling.

I looooooove time travel Sci-fi, but at some point, it gets predictable. You read a short story and you can see it coming: that one old guy is going to be the kid they met in the past, the group saw something happen and no matter what they do, they're going to cause it to happen. Case opened, case closed.Paper Girls is far and away more layered, more complex, more fantastical, and more mystifying than any pedestrian time travel story. The sheer number of WTF moments was mind blowing and thrilling. Add that to some great (and some queer) girl characters, it was just.... *contented sigh*

Strong finish to Vaughan, Chiang and company’s female-focused, fast-paced, time-travel tale. If you enjoy solid characters and SF, this one’s for you. Definitely start with volume one and prepare for a fun ride.

Overall it’s fine. I guess I’m not into time traveling stories as I’d like to be. The characters are decent. The art is great. We got a little more Halloween in this volume.

The artwork is beautifully done. The story is told through words and color. Brian K. Vaughn catches details of life that can be taken for granted. Every comic I’ve read of his is unlike anything I’ve read in 30 years of comic book reading.

I really liked The series. It was different, thought-provoking, and unique. Bittersweet at the end but such is life as well.

Vale la pena completar la serie, el final me parece muy bueno, redondo y abierto a posibilidades con los personajes. Si te gustan cosas como Stranger things este cómic es una buena opción. Además pronto tendrá una serie en un canal de streaming, sin embargo no te la pierdas en este formato ya que tanto el arte, el diálogo y la historia en general, son únicos.

Happened upon at the library, after reading Vaughan and Fiona Staple's Saga series (amazing). Had to finish the series, so I ordered vol 6.This is a fun YA Sci-fi story with engaging character personalities, plot/time lines, and action. The colouring is excellent and the angular art style is cool!

Leider kein toller Abschluss. Die Serie hat extrem gut angefangen, aber ich denke der Autor hat ab der Hälfte keine Lust mehr gehabt ( vielleicht wegen anderen Projekten.) Naja , Hauptsache wir haben einen richtigen Abschluss bekommen. Wäre aber mehr drinnen gewesen
