Amazing product-Worked straight away
I honestly didn't think this would work for my dog as he is quite the Brat when it comes to barking, especially in the car & we needed to try something because I am due a baby soon & the barking would give him a heart attack.Ha Well I can HONESTLY say I dont know why I didn't buy it months ago!!! He had it on him for 1 car journey which would usually be torture but after the buzzing & vibrations he quickly stopped. We only have it on him when he's in the car & he actually doesn't bark when he's in the house now either. That was only day 1 of trying the collar out & I am so impressed.I do feel a little guilty as its a dogs thing to bark but I had no choice with the baby due soon. Excellent product, I would recommend it to anyone.

Not quite the product we thought it was going to be
This product didn't work at all for our pompsky at first he stopped barking and started spinning around as he didn't know what the vibrating was but soon as he worked out what it was he just barked through it and it made him carry on barking in frustration. In my eyes the vibration isn't harsh enough on the skin when I tried it on my hand it's not enough of a shock to startle the dog and I sent mean that in a bad way I would never want my dog hurt at all I hate idea of shock collars like most people but for me the vibrations just aren't powerful enough. The noises don't put him off at all either they just don't even break his barks up right from the start.

It works!
Work well for my Labrador, she kept quiet till we wake up instead of braking early at 6 or 7 in the morning. But the top colour cover damaged by her at the first of wearing.

From breaking point to blissful calm and silence!!
It's not often I'll write a review, let alone a positive one.Our miniature dachshund put us at breaking point with her barking, nature of the breed I suppose. But she would bark at ANYTHING, even someone outside closing their bin lid or footsteps of passersby. We tried so many things but this collar... It's the only thing that has worked and it's not even been A WEEK!Rarely does the collar actually vibrate, vibrations only happen after a third bark. The first two barks are met with a loud beep and this alone stops her in her tracks. If there's someone at the door she might go a little nutty and set off the vibrations but it doesn't happen often.I think the key, as with all dog training, is positive reinforcement. She was initially quite worried about the beeps coming from her neck but each time it happened and she stopped barking she would get a treat.By association she now understands that it's a good thing and snaps her out of stress barking and puts the attention on us. Which before we couldn't do, even when offering a treat. We'd end up just giving her treats when she was barking, reinforcing the bad behaviour. She is so much calmer now. Instead of barking at noises she may just let out a little grumble rather than a barking episode.Even after taking the collar off she is better behaved. Don't get me wrong, she still barks but just so so much less. Here's hoping the progress continues. Some key points to understand:- The collar shouldn't be used for more than 6-8 hours in a day. I use it in 2-3 hour sessions and then give her a break. I imagine it's quite uncomfortable for her to wear.- This is not a replacement for a regular collar. You shouldn't be attaching a lead to it, it's not strong enough. Or leaving it on without supervision or someone home.- For a smaller dog, you'll find you have lots of excess material once it's tightened up, I just cut it off.- I don't suppose this is something that'll last a long time, it's a little flimsy but for the money you pay you couldn't ask for more.Honestly, so glad we got this collar. It's done wonders!

Great quality.
My friend purchased one of these for her dog and it works perfectly, unfortunately it doesn't work for my dog but that's not because the collar is poor in anyway, this is down to the fact it just doesn't work on my dog. It is however a good size for a little dog and it's easy enough to use, my only feedback would be if possible to change the actual box element with the noise/vibration to a different size to accommodate different dogs sizes and also if it had 2 of them on the one collar so they could go either side of the dogs neck this may work better? Just a suggestion. The ability to increase and decrease the noise/vibration levels is also a great feature.

Doesn't last long
Works well for a bit but mine has now broken after 2 months. Beeps constantly - I thought it was the battery but I've tried changing this and the beep continues.

Fabulous investment, instant results.
A super investment, worked instantly. Tried it on myself first wish I’d found it sooner. Living near to a public footpath we have a steady flow of public; the dogs as they’ve got older would get into quite a frenzy of barking; now with the easy to set sensor we have control back again. The dogs are so much calmer now too, not even bothering to ‘check out’ who’s walking past, it has also stopped the barking when running up to meet and greet other dogs making for happy owners on both sides.

Really works
We have two dogs who were both prone to excited yapping at times - but started to really grate on my husband! Didn’t want a ‘shock’ collar and a friend recommended these. We didn’t expect them to work to be honest - but the beep actually does distract them enough to stop barking. Tho older dog sometimes continues to bark to the point of the long vibration ( the beep and vibrations increase the more the dog barks) The only gripe is that it if does go to the final long been and vibration, after that it seems to reset and during that period there is no reaction from the collar for a couple of minutes - but that isn’t an issue for us as we don’t want silent dogs- just quieter! Recommend!
