Fay-Bay's Books Review
True to Melissa De La Cruz's style and in typical Blue Blood's fashion, this book was incredible! Melissa De La Cruz is one of my favorite authors. I know that if I pick up one of her books to read, I'm going to love it! She's always my "go-to" author. If I'm kind of in a reading funk, I know to read one of her books and it gets me back on the band wagon. I don't know what I'm going to do when I run out of books to read by her! haha. There is not one thing that I didn't like about this book. Amazing!Revelations' is the continuing story of Schuyler, Bliss, and Mimi. Schuyler is living with the Force's and hating it. She finally found her grandfather and now can't even live with him. On top of all that, she has been banned from talking to anyone she cares about. Schuyler's got it rough. I don't want to give away too much....althoughI guess I just did. But, this book is fantastic.I was actually so into this book when I was reading it that I couldn't focus on my school work. I actually had to walk away from it and finish reading 'Revelations' because I couldn't stop thinking about it. It was action packed and intense! I highly recommend this series, if you haven't had the opportunity to read it yet, you should! It's well worth it!

good 3rd book a bit short though
This book was good, it has a slow start but the ending was explosive, dramatic and a bit action driven. Honestly, some of it felt like it was falling in and I didn't know where most of these things are coming from because the hints are very subtle within the book. The book ends with a cliff-hanger like most, luckily if you're just buying this book theres a bunch more!I like Schuyler more and more. I think her relationship between Oliver and Jack is complicated and I cannot wait to see how it all plays out. I cannot say that she has grown stronger, but she has grown as a character and is more determined.all in all if you're a fan of this series which im assuming you are if you're getting this book its a good read and progresses the story line.

I love the Blue Blood series
I love the Blue Blood series, it was just an automatic given that I would love this book as much as I did, however I also hated the book with a fiery passion. So much stuff happened and everything went total wrong. How could Melissa do this to me. I did not see the ending happening the way that it did, and some of the stuff that went wrong in this book needs to be fixed. I don't know how it could be, but it needs to be. All I can say is WTF!I will be looking forward reading the next book, The Van Alen Legacy.

Revelations 1:1
I love the Blue Bloods novels because they are not stereotypical at all. Yes, they need blood to live. Yes, they are all attractive of course. Most importantly, there is a leading male whom every girl wants to come wandering into their bedrooms. But as far as your run-of-the-mill vamp series goes, this set of books puts a new twist on the enviable state of being that is "Vampyrism." Melissa De La Cruz throws into the mix that this elite group known as Blue Bloods were once in the presence of The Almighty. To merge the two polar opposite ideas that angels and vampires could possibly be of the same lineage is blasphemy to some. What i love best is the journey every single Blue Blood member must make to become themselves. There are only four hundred Blue Bloods in the world and they are basically reincarnated every few cycles to become a different person, eventually regaining memories from past lives. All they really want is to be back in the presence of their God. But with every piece of light there must be darkness. Schuyler Van Alen seems to be the go-to heroine with a simple charm about her that is so relatable and yet you know she is going to prevail in the end. She must find the source of the Silver Bloods, vampires who feed on their own kind to gain power through corruption, or it will be the end of clan. Everyone in her life seems like someone she can trust, but the reality is she can only trust herself, if that.

Scam
The overall story is very orginal and true to the target audience of adolescents, however each book is about 400 pages which isn't really much and the story doesn't end at the end of the book. It continues into the next book and the next book and so on. Each book is about $6 and there are several books in the series, so really you pay $6 for several parts of the same story. I stopped at the 3rd book, not because I didn't want to finish the story but because I thought the price was a little steep.

It does exactly what it says on the cover ;)
To use a UK commercial catchphrase 'it does exactly what it says on the tin' LOLThe secrets and mysteries are peeled back layer by layer, with a few (or more) shocks and surprises in store. Revelations cleverly picks up the threads of plot from Masquerade. These are definitely not stand alone books, if you haven't read the beginning of the series then you will not understand the intricacies of the plot and character interactions.Written in 3rd person narrative, mainly focalised from Schyler's point of view (who we have grown to know/understand in the previous books). Schyler is so easy to relate to; an outsider in more ways than one. Within this story Sky's vampire powers are developed further but at what cost? You can also fully appreciate the dilemma she faces torn between her BF and 1st love. The male protagonists especially seemed to gain a lot more depth of personality in this book, whereas they have previously played more of a background role.Religion, history and fantasy are all woven together seamlessly into the plot. Topical issues such as the 'credit crunch' are entwined in the narrative adding a sense of realism. I especially adored the depiction of Lucifer. It has always baffled me as to why angels would have followed him in the beginning if he was a horrible/ugly/terrifying monster. Of course, he is all of those things but on the inside. This portrayal would certainly explain a lot :)Reports are interspersed throughout the book adding intrigue and another dimension to the plot. The start of the book deals mainly with plot building and character development. Quickly followed by fast paced action and drama culminating in a thrilling cliffhanger.I was left pondering the questions:1. Who decided on the bonds. How were they made in the 1st place. As it doesn't necessarily seem to work out for the best.2. How were the vampire laws made?Hmmm I wonder........If you like supernatural romance/action/adventure with lots of fast paced action and ingenious plot twists then this series is a MUST for you ;)

Revelations
very nice as the previous book, it is very gripping and very well written, the description of the Silver Blood and of the other evil character is very good, so good that it kind of scared me a bit even though I am definitely above the age of the average reader!!

blue bloods have it
excellent read, enjoyed every page, will be reading the whole saga of the blue bloods.Shuyler Van Alen is definitly going to be the hero, lots of mystery and devious carrying on.She is torn between the two,the twin Jack Force and Oliver her conduit,Mimi the spoilt one, always gets her way,not if Shyler gets hers,a real blue blood.

(Incest creeps me out but..) i love the book!
The incest is a little alarming but hey you get over it, helps you hate certain characters which is always for the best. Well explained with all the Vamp-Tastic details, love the mythological side. Being a Msc i find the idea of vamps craving fish blood a little bit strange .. but easily over looked. Very good and surprisingly voted for by Disney so you cannot go wrong.
