The Season of Light: Daily Prayer for the Lighting of the Advent Wreath (Advent/Christmas)

I wanted a Catholic advent wreath prayer book. This is like a mass book. It reads with responsorials, like you are saying a mass and others are joining in.

My family has been using this daily Advent prayer book for lighting of the Advent wreath for many years.The prayers provide focus on Advent and allow preparation for the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.The readings do not take very long.Each night we take turns being the acolyte.This year, with Covid chaos, this daily ritual provided a much needed boost to my mind and spirit.I long for a prayer book in this format for every day of the year. Something that I would light a candle and go through the prayers and scripture.I am open to suggestions. I am Anglican,

I'm using this book for celebrating daily the Advent season. If you have an Advent wreath, you'll need this book.

I grew up using this book or something very similar. It is a great book if you're looking to read a bible verse, pray for others (sick/old/needy/etc). I told my wife that I wanted to begin this tradition together and find a book that gives a great message. We're looking forward to many years with this book and with our children in hopes they'll remember the importance that the message is getting across.

It was what I wanted, short devotional for each day of advent, enough but not too much. The prayers were thoughtful and covered a wide range of f various intentions.

Really great book for Advent at home

I loved this book as it had daily prayer and reflection and bible readings for everyday in Advent! Great addition to any family wanting to start Advent or looking to add to their traditions :)
