And I mean it. I have had over a hundred different salts, easily.One of my favorite salt types to put on top of things is a Marlborough flaky sea salt, and this is pretty much identical.The salt is very large (for salt), but very soft flakes, like tiny corn flakes shapes if that makes sense. You can drop them onto the food and have a lovely texture awaiting you from this finishing salt, or it crumbles easily with a light press, and you can finish your food off with a finer salt texture. It's a perfect texture for finishing salt, that's why I like it so much.But I love it for the flavor. It's rich, deep, and a little complex, bringing out the best in any food. That combined with the texture make this an absolute winner.Plus apparently there's healthy stuff in this type of salt, so hey, high five yourself for topping that fillet mignon or baked potato with some minerals and nutrients, and then enjoy.But seriously, if you like salt, you'll like this.

The best salt you can get. Taste and texture and flavor are all the best you can get and will ruin you on any other salt. Unfortunately the zip loc seal pulled away from the edge of the bag the second time I opened it. Excellent salt, but massively sub-par packaging.UPDATE - The company remedied the problem I had with the packaging within 72 hours of my posting my review. They clearly stand by their product and care about their customers. Their response sealed the deal and ensured I will remaina long term customer. Rating updates from 4 to 5 stars!

This is wonderful salt! I love the little crunch and it was great on my salad, sliced Avacado and the Spaghetti that I made. This is now going to be my go to salt. I gave the packaging 3 stars because after opening it 4 times the zip lock part came apart from the rest of the package so it no longer sealed so I purchased some small 2 ounce glass jars from Amazon and they are working perfectly. I highly recommend this salt for salt lovers! I will be purchasing again and again when I need more. Thank you!

Flavor and quality are terrific

I like the texture of the salt and use it on most everything I cook. I like it especially on popcorn and vegetables. It is salt with a distinct flavor different from regular table salt. I prefer kosher sea salt made by different makers and from the various locations it is produced. I will probably buy this brand again in the near future.

Not only controllably versatile, being both chunky and crumbly with finger-feel ability to crush into light flakes all the way to a fine powder, I'm surprised at how much better it tastes than any other gourmet salt I've tried: noticeably better balanced, with a depth of subtly enhancing mineral elements that almost seem like a mushroom/fish sauce/MSG umami seasoning, yet harmoniously purely salt spectrum clean! Popular Himalayan Pink salt may be all the rage, but by comparison, as one young "foodie" commented, this is addictively well rounded, whereas Pink is "sharp" and, well, "too Salty". Some others can range from too "plain" to slightly "muddy" or "metallic", worst having a hint of "tide pool" crab shell undertones. I know, it's just sea salt, but the reactions I'm seeing from everyone who tries it tells me they concur that it's simply the best damn salt they've ever tasted. ...and to be clear, this was simply a roll of the dice "hunch" purchase, and I have absolutely no connection, association or previous knowledge of the company. Just thought I'd give it a try for the heck of it, and hit the salt flavor jackpot! I'm sold for life.

I love it! As they promised it tastes different from any salt I ever used. I seldom use salt so when I do I want it to have a unique flavor and texture. This does it comes in a convenient zip lock bag for easy storage and pouring!
