Pioneer AVH-X2600BT 2-DIN Multimedia DVD Receiver with 6.1 Inch WVGA Touch Screen Display (Free Rear View Camera)

This is a really nice unit. However, about the time I got used to enjoying it, the screen seemed to lose contact with the rest of the unit which caused it to restart itself constantly. It eventually went dark and quit working all together. I contacted Pioneer and was told that I was not eligible for the normal one year warranty because A and A Online is not an authorized dealer. I sent emails to Amazon, to which I received auto-replies of the not helpful variety. I requested a return from A&A Online that was never responded to. I sent more emails to both parties, nothing. So it looks like the moral of the story is that you don't have to be an authorized dealer to sell things on Amazon. I had no idea. Let the buyer beware.

Although this isn't the tuner you want for ultra loud/clear applications, I had to give it 5 stars because I was quite impressed with it for the price. I installed the unit in my '07 Dakota about a year ago. (Don't let them tell you a 2din won't fit!) the install required a little cutting and the cutouts for vol/tuning on stock unit were open voids I machined aluminum fillers which accept the mic/usb aux port. Then sent them out to be anodized. I understand the average joe doesn't have a Bridgeport in his garage. Although I would think any mechanically inclined or slightly talented craftsman could manage a decent fix for the issue.Performance wise I have no complaints. Exceptionally clear at significant volume. I find no use for the "Mixtrax" feature. That is a matter of personal preference though. I initially had an issue with iPod/iPad/iPhone not alowing video to play due to the in vehicle status. That was a simple fix with an app though. A couple more custom settings on the EQ would be nice. Other than that... As I said earlier in my opinion it's a solid product product at a great price point. One other notable would be the rms wattage ratings are spot on and quite respectable.

Good bang for your buck. Only thing is i dont know how to adjust the lines for parking camera... Also the camera that came with it was broken so i had to order a new one... Also i ordered another video wire... Because the one that came with it is pretty flimsy

I bought this unit for my husband for Christmas. He got it installed and He loved it! The backup camera was great for him to hook up to his trailer and he really liked pandora. The only complaint I had was the horrible echo I heard whenever I called him and he was using bluetooth via the unit ( he tried to turn it down, etc. At least thats what he told me, ha). Anyways, the last five days the unit was acting up, turning on and off, bluetooth connecting, the remote nor any of the buttons would work. We took it and had the install checked out and they said it was the unit messing up. So I sent an email to the company explaining the situation. Here is the reply I receieved back. "Good AfternoonUnfortunately as per our policy there is nothing that can be done after the one month period .That is as far as our warranty is extended and we can not do anything the time , perhaps check with installer and maybe the wires may have become loose .I am very sorry for this I hope you have great evening.RegardsSarah"Ya, out $250, an xmas present and car stereo, Im going to have not only an awesome evening, but an awesome week now that I have to remove the unit and pay to replace it. Great! So helpful. BUYER BEWARE.

I bought it last April and works fine only for 5 months. I'm using pioneer sounds for many years but now I very disappointed with. It's starts on and off always when in use. I contact seller and they said the guarantee was only 4 months. As I live in Brazil, they also said that they do not have an international warranty. I sent to another electronic place to try to fix and they said that the main board has a defect and we can't find the replace part in Brazil. I'm really disappointed with pioneer.

I love the Pioneer AVH-X2600BT and the price is outstanding, I had no idea that I would enjoy it so much. I'm not a true purist but the sound quality is remarkable.I find that I listen to Pandora all of the time. I ordered the wire harness for my vehicle and solder my wires to make the install go faster. The head unit came with a camera don't be surprised if it dose not work, I wasted hours checking my connections, and removing the head unit. It looks like a good camera but check it first before U wast a lot of time installing it.

The deck itself is awsome. Sound quality is great. I use note II for bluetooth streaming pandora and music saved to my phone. Being able to control pandora through the deck is a cool feature. I plan on installing mirror link to mirror my phone screen onto the head unit. I cant figure out how to play movies through usb flash drives. It sees the files but wont playCamera is nothing to brag about. The screen guide lines are off. No night vision and lens fogs up when it rains. So its useless on rainy days and night time. Also hard to see when u are reversing into direct sunlight.

I am very happy with this radio. It meets with all of the requirements that I need in a car radio. I pod adapter, blutooth ready, pandora ready Etc. Agreat radio and a great buy.
