When the cord for our dual screen DVD system broke in our car, I thought our two toddlers were going to have hysterics. They don't like long car rides and we live in a rural area so it takes us a while to get anywhere. Without a movie to watch in the car, they get bored. I had bought a generic universal cord at Walmart to replace the one that broke, against my husband's advice. Turns out he was right. The universal cord that I bought (that was more expensive than this one) ended up blowing a fuse in our vehicle. Replaced the fuse, plugged the DVD player back in, that fuse blew too. So we tossed the universal cord and I did what I should have done in the first place and checked Amazon for a the name brand replacement. Thanks to Amazon Prime it arrived in 2 days. Plugged it in and no blown fuses. Works like a charm. I was afraid we were going to have to buy a new system entirely. This purchase saved me a ton of money. I definitely recommend and I also recommend staying away from universal cords that aren't from the original manufacturer as they seem to have a problem blowing fuses.

I received a cord for a back up from the manufacturer for an unbiased review. I had a long trip and had a teenager and a 7 year old sharing this cord with their seperate dvd players. They both sat in the back seat together. This cord works great! No issues wish I could say the same for the dvd players I bought. 😩 This power cord is durable and long enough to stretch for a third row seat from plugging in the front if needed.

We bought this to run from cargo area of husband's wrangler to the backseat area for our kids to use the DVD players on a trip that was approx 7 hours per day for 2 days (then returning the same length a week later). This product worked but wasn't the right end piece for our DVD players sadly because the length was what we needed

Worked and did the job. Durability will be further tested with time. The only snag is that the separate cables are rather too short from the connectors to the terminal where they are linked. The plan was to run the cables almost completely hidden from view and the prying hands of kids by running them to the floor and under the carpet to the charging port on the dash console. It wasn't possible to hide the cables completely with the short length.

our previous power cord fell apart after a few usages in our van. I looked for a comparable cord on the Best Buy website since that's where we purchased our dual DVD player system. And after several minutes of searching I was able to find what I needed. But it was much more expensive than I thought I should pay for a cord that came with the system. So I flipped over to Amazon to see if I could find a similar cord, and I quickly found the PWR+ cord. it was half the price of the same kind of cord that was available on the Best Buy website, and it came with free shipping since we're prime members. it arrived in just the nick of time for the next upcoming trip, and our boys were very happy to be able to watch their movies on our long trip. The cord has held up remarkably well, and I highly recommend it for anyone that is in need of this kind of cord. it is actually a better cord than the original cord that the DVD system provided. It is thicker, and the plug that goes into the cigarette lighter has a very tight fit. The previous cord would fall out of our cigarette lighter and stop the movies.

Had the dual portable dvd players from Best Buy. The cord gave out. Best Buy wouldn’t stand behind them after 1 18 hour trip. The cord was cheaper than replacing the dvd players and also made travel much easier.

Bought this item a couple of years ago and it worked great until one of the inputs got smashed in the car door. I bought another charger in Feb to replace and it burned up in the car the first time I used it today in May. Of course the return window is closed. :( 2 stars for what was a decent product. Current product is garbage.Update 6/2017: updated to 5 stars. Company was quick to refund money and issue a RMA to send defective charger back. Purchased #3 and it works great, as expected. Charges both player/monitor as required for long family trip. Customer service was quick and easy to work with. Every company has a few duds, but remedied quickly.

Funciona muy bien para poder conectar ambas teles de las cabeceras del auto.

Habe diesen Artikel gekauft, da die üblichen Kabel für Tragbaren DVD Player viel zu kurz sind und sehr dünn.Dieses Kabel ist super lang. Passt genau bei uns, da die DVD Player hintereinander in einem Ford Tourneo sind und man auch noch etwas Spielraum die Kabel unter den Fußmatten zu verlegen.
