These are among the best apple boxes I have come across. They are made of high quality plywood that sands smoother than apple boxes made with cheaper materials. The quality of the plywood makes it easier to clean, more resistant to moisture, and quicker to finish, if you choose to do so. I frequently take my apple boxes outside where they are likely to get wet and dirty. When I do need apple boxes outside, I prefer to take my Advantage Gripware boxes. I brushed on a quick coat of polyurethane on a couple, and now no matter how dusty or muddy they get, they wipe clean in a couple seconds. I have several brands of apple box, and there isn't a lot of difference between them, but my Advantage Gripware apple boxes are the ones I reach for first.

This is well constructed and made from sturdy material. This has many uses for photography and other uses. It can be used to help your subjects to be at different heights during a shoot or for seating options. It can be used as a prop or step stool. Really anything that you can think of because it is so sturdy.

I use these to stand on - I weigh 105 lbs so I don't know how they will hold up for other people. I use them to seat models as well. So far so good. I don't have any experience with other apple boxes to compare the quality. For me these are working out nicely.

The box is exactly as described. Sturdy, well made. Sanded and ready to use. Perfect for what I needed. Might even stain mine.

I am a photographer, and I must say this is a must for everyone. I really like that it is very solid, but it is not difficult to carry around and bring anywhere. Really Loved It!

It was unfinished, but i just used a spay paint clear coat and it looks great! I love apple boxes and this one was a FANTASTIC one! Very sturdy!
