As a matter of fact, what I like the most about this alarm clock is the quality of this speaker: the sound is crisp and it can be surprisingly loud.The alarm has a built-in sound that is neither obnoxious nor too suave to wake you up, but if you don’t like it – no problem. You can substitute it for your favorite tune that you can put on “your” micro-SD card under a folder name “ALARM”.Of course, this is also a MP3 player that can play the MP3 files from your card. It will play all the files, regardless of the folder meaning even the one in the ALARM folder.When it comes to the light function, they went gaga. You can vary intensity, colors and even set the light to the beat. I suppose that is for when you want to use your bedroom for other activities then slipping.The clock has a rechargeable battery that is supposed to last about 8 HRS but I would not take a chance to miss my flight so plan to have it plugged in all the time. At least you can be sure that if there is a blackout you will catch your flight.I wonder what the next alarm clock can do.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this due to the excellent combination of the light, clock and speaker. I'd like to say that its versatility surprisingly beyond my expectation. It it very easy to set and use, and the seller has been very helpful for any enquiry about the product, very pleased with the seller service. I've been using the Bluetooth function to play music, the sound quality is better than I expected. I really loves the led color options...and there are so many (48 colors in totall I think).The lights are so pretty and bright, and there are dimmable warm white lights to choose. The time display will be dark after two minutes of inactivity, if you want to see the time, just tap the top of this device, and the light will be on at the same time. If you want to see the time without the light on, just press the first button (the power button) once.Overall:I am more than happy with this device, and I highly recommend it. Would nurchase again！

Great alarm with a fabulous, loud, clear speaker! You can choose any song you have an mp3 for to wake up to! This alarm is a game-changer for anyone with a high-pitched hearing loss. Most alarm clocks have high-pitched sounds ~ which can't be heard if you have a high-pitch hearing loss. You can put an mp3 ~ of any song you want the alarm to awaken you to ~ inside a folder labeled ALARM on a USB stick. You turn on the speaker .. insert the USB stick .. then set the alarm. When the alarm goes off, it will play your song! It takes a while to get used to programming this, as the instructions are a little more complex than any alarm I've ever used. But, have kept the instructions near the speaker to refer to. And after setting the alarm a few times, it's easy now, and I remember how without having to look at the instructions. You press the "Mode" button to begin setting most everything, including the alarm. Alarm has worked perfectly every time I've set it over the last few months. I don't need all the different light colors this has, but a light coming on with just one touch is convenient. I rated this with 4 stars instead of 5 due to the complexity of use. But, truly HIGHLY recommend it for anyone with a hearing loss ~ especially high-pitched. The alarm is very loud ~ it's essentially a speaker with an alarm clock built in. Truly a lifesaver!! I use this as a custom white noise machine. I've owned a few white noise generators that are great but I always wanted something where I could make my own white noise MP3s and have more control over the sounds that are played. This has a great speaker and a straightforward way of adding files to it as well. I have white noise audio files that are 12 hours long and this handles them very well. I use the SanDisk Cruzer Fit USB drive with it which is tiny, incredibly fast and has a large enough capacity to hold multiple files with no problem.This is pegged as an alarm clock, but I've never used it as such so I can't comment on that aspect. Personally if you want something to just play MP3s then the lights might be too much (they were for me at least). What I did was covered all of the light aspects with black electrical tape and now the light is minimally invasive, so I can adjust it in the dark without it being too bright.One note, this has an AUX out, not an AUX in. I was initially frustrated because I thought I could plug wired headphones in and then quickly realized that it was actually an output and not an input. Still a great product.

Bluetooth, MP3 player, alarm clock, and color changing LED light all in a tiny cube for 35 dollars: an incredible value.I got this for my daughter as she wanted to "customize" her alarm clock sounds. The MP3 functionality of this unit was the feature I wanted most. One thing to note: the microSD card must be FAT32 formatted. I initially used an NTFS format, and it does not work. FAT32 resolved it. To play any MP3 as your alarm, you create a folder on the SD card called "ALARM" and just put the file in there. That's all there is to it. Works great.The controls are a little confusing. For example, to turn the alarm on and off you have to go to "mode" and cycle through the alarm time setting before you actually turn it on-off. But it's not a big deal.
