Shipping happened sooner than expected. Box arrived in good condition. All parts and pieces in good condition and clearly marked. Desk was easy to put together but the glass top is best handled by 2 people. As others have said instructions for assembly are just an exploded view with no English. Following these and verifying what you are seeing makes sense for assembly.

This is a fantastic table for the price.ASSEMBLY:This table had a lot of pieces, but the directions were pretty clear. If you take your time, check through the inventory that all the pieces are present, and follow the instructions in order, then putting this together is pretty quick and easy. It took me a little over an hour from when the box arrived at my door to having this fully assembled.QUALITY:It feels sturdy. I had some reservations putting it together, but once everything was in place it is a sturdy desk that should stand up to years of creative use. Some areas had a few dents in the metal, but nothing obvious or even noticeable. Lifting up the top is easy. Lift from the back not the sides or the trays pop off. It has several heights to work with, and lifting it up as high as it goes then allows it to go back down. Very easy to use. Despite being only $140 it feels like a solid table.DESIGN:I purchased the black frame with the clear glass top. I chose this because the black matches my existing computer desk (which is over a decade old and still in relatively good shape) and because I wanted to be able to put a light beneath it and use it as a backlight for inking my sketches on clean paper rather than over the sketch and erasing. Also, it was a major plus that one of my 3 drawer storage units slid right in under the three drawers on the side, it was a perfect fit.FUNCTION:This desk is perfect for my needs. Some people might find it doesn't have enough storage, but the large pencil tray fits all my sketch pencils, inking pencils, and copic refills (I keep my actual copic markers in a separate case for portability). The smaller drawers hold almost everything I need for sculpting. My only mild complaint is I kind of wish there was a way for one of the trays to have a deeper pencil cup. I would like to put some of my favorite pencils/pens and sculpting tools in one of the cups but they are too shallow for that purpose. They should hold a deeper cup if you have one thin enough to fit in the cup holes. It's a minor thing and not a huge issue for me.All in all this thing is great. I looked at a lot of options on Amazon but I'm really glad I went with this one. I would recommend it to anyone wanting an angled work station.

I like the black glass version because I craft jewelry and the dark background really makes the materials I work with stand out. The addition of the drawers (I placed mine on the right side), is excellent because I can keep the tools and items I use frequently within arm's reach. I sometimes use the drawer to catch any chainmail rings or beads that happen to fall as I work (I pull it out half ways). I tilt the top up (you have several choices of 'tilt' (degrees I guess to be more accurate)) when I need to sketch a design on paper. Moreover, it is modern looking and very professional. The only negative I have concerns the instruction/assembly manual. There are things they don't mention that you should know, like proper placement of the pieces as you install this desk. The pictures only help a little. Several times, I had to backtrack and start over. I even had to stop and think how to properly place the piece I was installing so as to get the holes to line up for the screws in the following step. So, before you tighten any screws, it is best to look at the next step and make sure that those pieces will install correctly. Moreover, not all the hardware was labeled properly. For example, the instructions said to use screw 32 but in the blister package there are three different screws labeled 32! You just have to try each one to see which one fits correctly. You don't need additional hardware, but I found using my own set of flat and phillips screwdrivers, and small adjustable wrench, was far better than using the tools provided (again, not labeled correctly). As much as I wanted to, I do not recommend using a cordless drill with screw driver and hex attachments as I fear you may inadvertently overtighten the screws, and mar the heads of the screws as well. Overall though, I am very satisfied with the finished product and am glad I purchased it. Plus, I purchased the Studio Designs LED swing arm lamp, in black to match, that fits securely and provides adequate lighting (the colors show nicely). It does cost a little more than others on Amazon, but rest assured, you will have no problems/complaints with using it.

Nice desk if you can put it together. Shorted me one important bolt. Can't figure out the directions, mostly because I'm stupid. It's sitting in the corner of my room, unassembled.
