Great source for exams preparation
About one month ago I ordered four math books published by Argo Brothers Publishing – Math 3rd Grade Common Core Workbook (Part 1 and Part 2), and Math 5th Grade Common Core Workbook (Part 1 and Part 2). Being a Math Tutor I always check different additional sources to help my students to be successful on the tests, especially based on Common Core. Usually I search Internet looking for Test Preparation information, and then compiling worksheets for different topics. It is hard work, because there is a lot of outdated information with different point of view on the same subject. I found almost everything I need in those books! Part 1 has a hundreds multiple choice questions which cover different topics, and Part 2 requires writing answers, which is much harder, and makes a student to analyze, and formulate his answer in proper way. Guessing doesn’t work! All the books are well structured based by days and weeks, which can help with the planning of studying. I started to utilize those books in my tutoring process, and I’m very happy with the result – it saves my time and effort, and I have big source of worksheets wit the answer keys in one place! I would recommend those books to parents of my students as a perfect guide to be successful on Common Core exams. I’d like to order the book Math 7th Grade Common Core Workbook (Part 1 and Part 2) in near future.

Really helps!
I bought these books during the pandemic to help my daughter stay on track with learning from home. They’re really helpful and I’ve since bought them every summer so she can do a couple of pages every day and keep her math skills sharp. Each year when she starts school she’s ready to learn and not playing catch up for the first few weeks like the other kids. She has realized how much it helps and she doesn’t mind doing it during the summer.

Great practice problems. Excellent supplement. Lacks instruction component.
This book helped my son refresh 5th grade math over the summer. We practiced daily for a month and he ended up testing into advanced math when school started. There isn’t much in the way of explanations (the videos are pretty unprofessional in my opinion, but they helped once or twice). However, if your child has a decent grasp on the concepts already, but could use some practice or refreshing, then this is an excellent choice. I will be buying them for both my sons this year as a supplement.

Great spiral review.
When I changed grades I was looking for a great spiral review. This has worked great.

Thank you!!!
One of my favorite publishers for math workbooks for students. I have many of their books and have been consistently pleased with the quality and number of resources they provide. The workbooks include more than enough practice problems for your child to work through during the school year and the book comes along with their online website access. To my knowledge, all of their workbooks come with video explanations on their website. Some instructor reviews question by question making this an essential workbook to have for all parents and teachers. As a parent who has used their books for my kids and continue to do so, I highly recommend this brand.

Most aligned to state assessment question format I've seen!
I am extremely pleased to have stumbled across this book! As a teacher, I try to mirror a lot of my classroom instruction/questions to reflect those that are similar to what my students will see at the end of the year on their state assessments. This has by far been one of the BEST! I also like that this particular book has the open-ended responses that I can use in my classroom to truly SEE if my students understand the concepts I am teaching in my classroom. I cannot wait to use this book this year!

Meh. Good enough but not exceptional
I find the wording of questions really confusing. But once my kid and I decode what the questions really mean, he was able to work through the daily math problems. The printing and bindery makes the inside gutter of the page too close to the content.
