I use these pigments every day in my art-making. First of all, no need to take the lids off. Stick an awl through the top to make a hole to sprinkle them into little cups and spritz with water. Or sprinkle them directly onto the paper wet or dry and add water. These are as vibrant as can be. Little puddles of joy and exploration. I’ve made over 2500 non traditional Jandala style mandalas using these paints. Pleasantly dissolves instantly in water and easily cleans up with soap and water. I always recommend these paints in my Art for Insight classes. Pure pigment with no scent. The browns changed my mind about color! The oranges are as glorious as you’d imagine. Will last me forever.

What I want to declare right off the bat, is that I have not used these crystals yet. I tried to open a few of the bottles to see what would happen. I imagine the stuff is good, but removing the straps to try it out was frustrating. I think I will have to take a knife to remove the caps to have full access. I think I will push some push pens into the tops to sprinkle it out. I think they should create a better cap design to prevent frustration! Now if you do put the push pins into the tops, you'll need another box to house the bottles as they won't close properly. I think for the price involved, there should be more for your money!

These are so rich with colour pigment that you need hardly any to create wonderfully vibrant art. As watercolours they're gorgeous but the best effect is when you take advantage of their colour burst feature and see the colours spread across the page or canvas.
