The media could not be loaded.  This product is not suitable for gas ranges and it is very dangerous.I bought this because the gas range igniters don't work anymore.I don't like using lighters because the child lock button hurt my thumb,I used a different spark, which I bought from Amazon a long time ago, but it died after using it for several years.When I click the switch on this item, it sparks. nut when I use it for the gas range, most of the time, it doesn't spark.My guess is that the flow of the gas prevents it (it might be a weak spark) and the structure, which has holes to transfer the spark, isn't effective.The package is bad. In the beginning, I thought I got one someone to return because the tape on the package looked very old.So, I asked Amazon to replace the item, but the replacement also is in a bad package. The bottom of the package was ripped, and the replacement item doesn't work for the gas range again.It is so dangerous by releasing the gas while trying to give the sparks many times.The video explains that this product sparks, but when I use it on the range, it doesn't spark (no click sound), and in the end, I use a lighter.The reason for the two stars is because it probably works for the candles, the switch is easy to press, and it has a hook on it.I really don't recommend this item for gas.

Takes ~ 15s to light a burner, after which there’s a big plume of flame from, you know, all the unignited gas I’m pumping into my living space. And even though it was designed for length, it’s still too short to light the pilot of a standard commercial stove, which sort of feels like the point? Flames of regret.

I never actually used it, because the thing just looked sort of big and cheap. It came quickly enough though, so I can't complain per se.

This is amazing for lighting gas grills. Regular lighters frequently require me to click multiple times and hold it down to put the fluid down near the ignitor. Also, this doesn't have a petroleum smell. I'm not sure how this would work lighting charcoal. The spark is relatively large, so it is probably OK.An excellent product. I highly recommend it.

Much better than a butane lighter or matches for lighting a gas stove.

I was simply not able to use the igniter that comes with the flame thrower such as Weed Dragon and the like. My hands are just too small and not strong enough. This is exactly what I needed to spark the flame.

This gas stove lighter has a nice long length which makes it easy to light the gas burner. A nice feature is that it only needs one single AA battery. Overall a tool that works as designed.

Electric lighter is working very well to light my BBQ. It’s not effected by the wind,works every time.

We bought this one for lighting our gas stove. The spark is not good enough to light the gas. It works some time but not all the time. Dangerous, since gas from stove keeps on getting out, one has to quickly turn it off.
